Felt the thought of him leaving would bother me more than it has. Perhaps it’s the inevitability of it coupled with it being Man City.

Means nothing to me when they win anything or everything as it’s the equivalent of doping in athletics. All they have achieved has been through making a mockery of FFP.

Sure the first time they won thePL it was a story but now it just feels sterile and meaningless. No doubt fine if you are a City fan but if Kane goes there and wins it all for me there will not be any thoughts of what could have been with us.

It’s always been about Spurs never about one particular player.

Apparently, they're willing to offer Bernardo Silva in any deal for Kane - not really sure if Silva will be happy with that though :ROFLMAO:

I wonder what they value him at too

I think Bernardo Silva could be the key to this happening or not.

Had a look on their Twitter and City fans seem to think he doesn't want to stay in England but they also seem a bit bothered as , let's be honest, he's class.

Made the mistake of reading that City ITKs posts and interactions with other posters. I was fully accepting Kane leaving as the best scenario but now I hope it falls through to shut up those smug pricks.

If he does go I hope Levy makes them bleed for it to the extent its not just City letting him have a PR win.

I can’t see why Silva would be unhappy to join us. We’re in London, have one of the best training grounds and stadiums in the world and we’re managed by a compatriot who also has the same agent.

Bernardo would turn us down anyway.
I wouldn't be completely sure of that.

He's on £150k a week which is within our wage budget. If he's not in City's plans then he'll want to go elsewhere.

Lots of teams are financially struggling right now.

This summer is an opportunity for those with money.

I agree, but if he was willing to come...I'd snap City's hands off if they offered something like £100/£110m and Silva. That would be a cracking deal for Spurs.

Bernardo Silva is probably worth £50/60m in the current market and sorts out that RW position for us.

I'd rather we go full rebuild mode and sell Kane now tbh. Probably in the minority though.

Because we're playing in the Conference League and he could walk into almost every top European team. Also, we won't offer Shitty type wages.

Ffs. We have one of the richest owners. He let Kane stay at his house last week and now he’s pulled this shit. If I was him I would buy a striker and fuck Kane right off in the reserves. Let’s not pretend Lewis isn’t filthy rich to Abramovich style.
fuck him. My sons gonna be devastated. Prick

People throw this assumption out a lot.

Silva is on £150k a week. We paid Ndombele £200k a week ad Hojbjerg £100k. Selling Kane would also be us dropping £200k a week on salary.

So some of City's players aren't out of our reach salary wise.

Atletico seem to really want Bernardo so cant see that one happening. But £120m plus Bernardo would be a cracking deal.

But as he isn't running the club in the same way it is not relevant.

if we can get anywhere over 100m + Bernardo then we've done extremely well, he's genuinely world class. Can't see him wanting to come though
