I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't all done yet, I felt like when this was completed behind the scenes, we'd see a sudden surge in our efforts to bring in replacements, but it doesn't look like we're greatly close to bringing in any attacking talent at the moment. I can't see us selling Kane for a large fee and then sitting around for a week or longer with nothing else seeming imminent.

Just had a quick look on there.

One of the latest posts “120/130m is a good deal for all, Spurs bank a wad of cash, pay off some debt and also reinvest.”

Sorry but 120/130m is not a good deal for us at all. Another example of the entitlement that we should just accept what they’re willing to pay because they’re Man City.

The rest of the post was strange as well
We would be disrespecting the player if we didn't take the money.... Bit like being disrespectful for signing a long contract on a large wage then fucking off.

Its about time someone in the media shifted the narrative on to City. They paid above market value for Grealish, what makes them think they can get Kane at a discount?

Even yesterday when Ornstein was inferring Levy holds all the cards he didn't really mention the fact that City clearly haven't offered enough.
Bluemooners aren’t impressed with the “don’t want him enough” narrative ?

“He's a Spurs mouthpiece and a Spurs fan.

Must be noted that this is now the 4th reporter from their side in the last day that I've seen push the "City must not want Kane enough" narrative. There has obviously been a brief.”

It looks like people on blue moon see this guy Billyshears as itk on blue moon

“It’s done. Everything next is PR and Levy and Paratici having time to close deals for their own players. A fee has ben agreed in principle. There’s an add on haggle but everyone accepts it’s happening.”

Ties in with what Trix said

Surprised there is no mention of chips and gravy, every other post on there does! I thought their main ITK was the Hairdoo bloke? They were saying that he is actually the mascot!? Having worked in football at a much lower level than spurs, I don’t think the clubs mascot is going to be told about the comings and goings somehow! But whatever

I could be alone but I see Kane going as an opportunity for us to have an even better team. Invest the money wisely which is something we've struggled with in recent times and overall the future could be really positive. Especially considering its someone different doing the investing and its a good time to buy.

It's possible that the fixture list is the only thing that delayed this deal. And Charlie Kane got over excited and blabbed at his wedding / thought it needed daylight to force through. When a more astute agent would know that you need City and Spurs to do their dance and work the details out in private / Pep making "exceptions" in pressers

BBC sports gossip column says that Real Madrid are preparing a bid to PSG for Mbappe. The valuation of the bid is 120m euros (£102m). I find that incredibly low and not a big help for our discussions on Harry's worth with City. I've no doubt it will be rejected by PSG.

Mbappe only has a year left on his contract though, Kane has three.

Nothing wrong with chips and gravy. In fact, I think we should have a specific thread for it. When I was a kid the only place you got gravy chips was the Chinese takeaway. Thought it was actual Chinese food until I was about 14.

Tbf, it looks like he just nicked Trix’s itk from a couple of days ago. Just rephrased it a bit.

Just want him gone now and hope and pray people don’t pine for him back. He’s only behind Judas imo, Berbatov at least had the excuse that he wasn’t a fan.

yes. I said the same. I think there are a few people in denial about this transfer in here still

I don’t think so, I think most of us want him gone now so we can actually start the rebuild without him. I think there are people seriously doubting Levy is about to turn charitable and cut City a cut price deal.

I agree most do but there are still people in here who think it won't happen because city havent offered enough. All the ITK etc points to the fact a deal is pretty much there. People need to stop clinging on to the hope levy will turn them down flat and hold on for this or that amount. If nuno and paratici want him out then he will go

If Mbappe goes to Madrid I hope pochettino would do us the favour of bidding for Kane. I know Harry doesn’t want to go abroad but he would have to be tempted to line up with Messi. In any case it would push up the price and force City to get realistic

First I'll appolgise for jumping the gun a little on Thursday evening. To clarify I was hearing bits from two people one with very recent close links to City and one at Spurs. So as things were coming through I put 2+2 together and came up with 4.1. I say 4.1 as although it's not 100% accurate it's pretty closs. First I heard it was likely to be completed by the weekend the other source said the conversations were putting every one in the same ball park and expected everything to be agreed in the next couple of days(but not completed)

Kane wants out. The only way he signs a new deal is if the deal doesn't happen and it he gets guarantee's included so he can leave asap. Nuno wants him gone, and Fab has players lined up and the Kane money changes the possible variables of who we get. So he needs to know what exactly we have to spend and if we need to replace or not.

No official bid but like I said they have moved a lot and it's litterally a phone call away from going through.

I'd be amazed if this doesn't now happen and I'm told it's circa 140 in cash that will get it done, with add-ons.
