Kane not being in today's squad is a sure sign that he's either going to be sold, sign a new contract, or carry on at Spurs on his current contract.

It's obvious.
Kane to retire early to spend more time with his wife & kids, you called it.

Exactly. He’s gone. I’m so upset. I really thought we’d do enough to keep him. Not looking good now. Another nail in the coffin for my love of spurs and football.

Nothing we could have done this summer could have changed his mind. He is set on leaving. He’s not gone yet, though. Not until City make an acceptable bid.

Why does this diminish your love for Spurs, though? It only diminishes my love for Kane.

Don't be. He doesn't deserve any one of the fans' respect and love. I'm a thousand times more gutted when Verts, Lamela, Toby left.

I’ve just had the thought that he’s sat at home waiting to watch the game and probably wants Man City to win. My mind is changing rather quickly on the back of that!

Gil and Romero on the bench. Yeah fitness doesn't explain Kane's absence.

Definitely. With all the talk of Nuno trying to build a bunker mentality in the room, he doesn’t want him around the team. How can you foster “everyone is against us” when your biggest player doesn’t want to be in the bunker?

Even if it is purely down to fitness, it’s still all down to him because he can’t be bothered to be respectful and turn up on time

Considering how many subs can be named now, his absence probably says it all.
Under normal circumstances a 50% match fit Kane would have been on the bench.

God the team is bad mind isn't it.

We really need him gone ASAP and to get some quality in. City could score 5 today with Sanchez and Dier at large.

Never expected him to play with everything up in the air, even if he ends up going or not. Probably the fact it’s City we’re playing as well, doesn’t help either.

It’s just another thing. The stadium and atmosphere is shit now. I’m surrounded by people moaning in the south stand rather than getting behind the team. It’s like the match thread in here. Then there’s VAR. Then there’s the fact the club treat us fans with such disdain. It is just a continuous accumulation. The only positive is Mourinho has gone so there’s a chance the football might improve.

Don’t look at me. I’m irrelevant.

“We’ll give everything and whatever happens” if that’s the sort of attitude we’re posting out on social media.
Weak ass mentality we have as a club
"Whatever happens..." basically announces he is leaving, in my book. Bloody weird way to do it.
