To me, the 160+ price tag is not only important for Spurs in a rebuild, but equally important for the game of football going forward and raising further awareness of the inequality and financial doping taking place with City. A club spending 260 on two players when they haven’t raised funds through transfers and the entire football world is struggling financially is ludicrous.

I think if this deal gets done at the price Levy wants you will have some big boy clubs in the footballing world cry afoul and hopefully some actual meaningful changes take place with FPP.

Don’t you guys realise that you are being played along just as Kane/City wants you to? This is excactly the reason Kane has acted the way he has. People who a couple weeks ago was «200 million, not a penny less», are now seemingly willing to sell him for 130 or 150 or whatever. This is basically encourging Kanes behaviour, because it obviously works! What do you think the next superstar who wants out is gonna do…

Personally I’d keep him more or less regardless of the offer now. It’s time to act like a big club and make a point. It’s time to show that this behaviour doesn’t work.
