This is what a media leak from a good PR team looks like, and is clearly in direct response to the nonsense piece in The Sun yesterday. Almost certainly means we can all move on from this saga now until next summer.

Definitely feels like this is his new PR team clearing up Charlie's mess from last night (The Sun).

Such a boring saga. Never at one point did I genuinely think Kane was off. City didn't even make it interesting ffs. He'll go next summer unless we have a brilliant season.

Not quite.

I made SC in 2002. Before it, there was a "tottenham community" that I was admin on along with a guy from Sweden (I don't know if he's still around but he has/had an account on here, @ERO was involved somehow too :p) that we hosted on some free software/hosting. That lasted maybe a year but it grew too big and we couldn't use it any more.

The original SC (in 2002) was on some content management system that had a forum attached to it but it wasn't great. We actually had a massive server crash and lost a lot of it so we started from scratch in June 2003 using proper forum software (vbulletin). That's why a lot of the older members on here all have the same registration date (June 2003). We switched over to Xenforo as the forum software a while back as Vbulletin had gotten rubbish and that's what we're still on today.

p.s. alt.sports.spurs was probably the first tottenham "forum" I used

Careful now.

I don't think Charlie had anything to do with that piece, felt like classic deadline week clickbait. I'll be honest, looks like Charlie has nothing to do with any of Harry's press/social media dealings anymore, because they're suddenly very professional again.

This Blue Moon post:
Imagine turning down £150million for a 28 year old player, when you're just going to sell them next year for £60mil less.

Enjoy it spurs, try not to get knocked out of the European Conference league before even getting into it!

As for Kane, obviously didn't want the move enough to agitate properly. Enjoy your bed pal!

At least for another hour before kane's PR team brief again!

I do wonder how much of this was whole pr stunt was actually instigated by Charlie and if he wanted the actual move more than Kane for a nice pay day.

Definitely too much of a coincidence after the Sun article.

They obviously moved quickly to minimise any further damage to their client’s reputation.

Absolute comedy gold from them.

If Kane had another bumper season with us we'd easily get north of £60m next summer. Top strikers are always in demand and command a premium.

Also he certainly put a lot on the line to get this transfer, damaging his hero status at the club that made him. City failed him not the other way around.
