New contract incoming do we think?

I was never going to dislike Kane for the things which have happened so far, think he made mistakes and hope he learns from them as he tarnished his legacy. However I felt it probably best he moves on because I questioned what that does for team morale and I think cashing in on a player for the right price (which still hasn't been close to coming) who is 28 with a history of injuries seemed the logical choice especially considering the two proposed replacements.

However those replacements look impossible now, I just hope that Harry trains hard and gets his fitness levels to where they need to be so he can put in the level of effort the players did against City, it will be no good sauntering around the pitch and not pressing in this team because I want to see a team who puts the collective effort in. If he does that combined with his obviously ridiculous ability to score goals and get assists then fantastic but I don't want to see the version of Harry who mopes around the pitch barely moving because he didn't get his move, because of the way he's gone about this summer, that will not wash as he has done previously.

Agreed, those on Sunday did us a massive favour. Rightfully a lot of us were pissed off at him but their actions were absolutely the best thing for the club and it was brilliant of them.
