Can’t figure out if he’s just lost it or can’t be bothered

his england performances have been bad for awhile now too

Either way ruins what’s left of his reputation every time he pulls on the shirt

right now he’s playing like the guy we loaned to Leyton Orient
imo it's the former but i'm happy for the latter to remain the narrative as it'll keep his value up.

It's not all on Kane and part of it is Nuno trying to play more on the front foot and opening up after the scrappy start, but it is telling that in the first couple of league games we were without the ball an organised, aggressive, hardworking, compact unit from back to front.

As for the main part of his game, I mean someone needs to put a rocket up his arse and get his feet moving.

Watching United and you can see Ronaldo causing the same issues as Kane does for us. Can't have a striker that don't press and put in the work.

Kane's throwing away his legacy at the moment, he's on the brink of taking all records for club, league and national team.. But might very well fall on his ass at this rate and become a nothing player in football history.

Antonio couldn't believe his luck, you could see it. Kane just wasn't concentrating, he was caught daydreaming. This at a corner he was defending against a team known for being dangerous at set pieces

He's been fucking dreadful all season but I've never seen him look as disinterested as he was today.

We'll probably get rinsed for him now but we need to sell him and rebuild.

Burnley is the perfect game to drop him and play the 3 that started against city.
No pressure from press, etc, as it’s a cup Nuno can say he was just resting him for Utd game

seeing how Utd played today, think a fast interchangeable 3 will be better suited anyway

He's still far and away the best player on the pitch. He's at that level of experience now where he plays intelligently, and can make touches and passes which others don't think of. That touch and shimmy he made that drew the foul from Clark... it looked simple enough, but that was top drawer. His goal brilliant, from the movement to the finish.

Watch the goals rain now.
How long do I need to watch for?

deary me - he has had nothing today apart from one ball and you think the centre forward is the problem
He has become a big problem. His movement off the ball is atrocious and is a major reason that we look so uncreative. The West Ham centre backs hardly had to break into a trot to mark him - must have been their easiest game of the season. He neither frees himself up to offer a target nor makes runs that take defenders away and creates space for others

Exactly - Son was equally as poor today but I haven’t seen his thread bumped. Fickle or what!
Son at least put some effort in.
Could you see Kane tracking back Bowen 80 odd yards and winning the ball back in our box?
Kane can’t even be arsed to jog ten yards to close down a centre half these days.

I was thinking Burnley is the perfect game for him to start as he should be in the reserve team atm  I wouldn't start him vs United, I'd go Son central and Bergwijn in, hell I know most won't agree but I'd rather dele up top, for as bad as he's been at least he works his bollocks off and wouldn't be expected to be the creative outlet

Good comparison.

I'd much rather play Gil/Stevie instead of Kane, and have Son up top. In modern football there is no room for coasting.

He's clearly taking the piss now, said in his post match interview that they were "pleased" with the way they were playing. ?

Does he no longer care about the golden boot?

At least play for your own stats even if the team results no longer impact you.

I said it in the match thread but the amount of corners he normally defends is unreal. He heads lots away, saved us many a goal heading off the line. His stats would probably be a record for the premier league for a striker.

Yesterday was embarassing, I don't know if he fell asleep, couldn't be arsed, or was distracted by our poor play in general.

Levy being stubborn has cost the club 130m. Now with the way Kane is playing he could be worth 80m in the next window.

Its really disheartening watching it all unfold. We were such a horrible team to play against years ago, people feared us, even the big boys. Now we are becoming a joke.

Our boy isn't covering himself in glory.

In hindsight, had Kane been represented by a football agent, who had known how to try and do business in a less clumsy way, he probably would have got his move and everyone could have moved on.

Seems like he's gone already; in his head that is.

We're going to have to get another world-class striker in as well as a back-up striker.

Levy's probably not going to do either anytime soon.

How many shots on goal and chances created were there? Can't lay blame at Kane for the shocking lack of service in the box. See poor young Scarlett the ther day too. It's a systematic problem with Nunos style of play.

Is kane a bit off the boil? Likely. But at the same time, I can see why he might be frustrated when the side plays like.this.

The contrast between watching Salah vs united and Kane vs hammers is striking. Constant movement, commitment and skill compared to static, uninterested and cumbersome. That has nothing to do with tactics or service, more a case of character and attitude.
