From a recent football.london article:
"Kane has also now scored 20 goals or more in nine successive seasons across all competitions. Only he and Robert Lewandowski have achieved that in Europe's major leagues."

One season wonder...

So not even Messi or Ronaldo have done that? That's insane.

this is not true considering Messi scored more than 20 goals in the league alone for 13 seasons in a row.....

Either way it's a pretty impressive stat whether you include Messi or not. 9 successive seasons shows how ridiculously consistent he has been.

They have, in the past, but the article seems be referring to current streaks only. Lewandowksi is currently on a streak of 12 consecutive seasons.

To add a bit of context to how good this scoring consistency is though, the only other players (other than Kane, Lewa, CR7 & Messi) I can find who have achieved this feet are Luis Suarez, Gerd Muller & Di Stefano. This is how some other highly esteemed forwards have done:

Shearer managed 20+ goals in a season 11 times, but only 6 times consecutively.
Henry - only 7 times consecutively.
Torres - only twice consecutively.
van Persie - only 3 times consecutively.
Rooney - only twice consecutively.
Owen - only 3 times consecutively.
Andy Cole - only 3 times consecutively.
Yorke - only twice consecutively.
Cantona - only once in total.
Ian Wright - only 6 times consecutively.
Fowler - only 3 times consecutively.
Benzema - only 6 times consecutively.
Aguero - only 7 times consecutively.
Ibrahimovic - only 7 times consecutively.
van Nistelrooy - only 3 times consecutively.
Ronaldo (R9) - only 3 times consecutively.
Eto'o - only 3 times consecutively.
Suker - only 4 times consecutively.
David Villa - only 6 times consecutively.
Raul - only 6 times consecutively.
Sheringham - only twice consecutively.
Klinsmann - only 3 times consecutively.
Lineker - only 6 times consecutively.
Rush - only 6 times consecutively.
Greaves - only 4 times consecutively.
Best - only 5 times consecutively.
Law - only 5 times consecutively.
van Basten - only twice consecutively.
Puskas - only 6 times consecutively.

Some of the players above probably would have managed 9+ seasons consecutively had it not been for injuries, but Kane has achieved it despite injuries.

Time for him to leave. He deserves trophies. Yes he’s let himself down in big games, but not nearly enough as this club lets him down

Left on the bench for far too long in our best chance at a trophy. No wonder he's off.

You really do have to feel for the guy - his talent and consistency deserves so much better than having to rely on some of the dross in our squad to help you win a medal.

Kane probably should have left a couple of years ago. Aside from Bayern or Chelsea I don’t see anyone else wanting him for the price he’ll cost.
As sad as it is for him that hes unlikely to win a trophy let’s not forget the semi-finals and Finals for club and country where he’s barely turned up also.
