Feels more of a publicity stunt to me. Similar to a couple years ago. I'm sure they would love him but they don't spend the kind of money required to get him.

Don't know if they are up for some Levy-Dealings but Bayern are under huge pressure from their fanbase. The management has made some weird decisions lately, and i am sure they dont want to look like fools that miss out again.

Levy is a pragmatist not a magician. He'll use any leverage he has to the maximum and that's what we've seen with previous deals. It's how he scared City off Kane - "He's on a 3 year deal lads. I'm under absolutely no pressure to sell here for any amount."

Levy is now in a position where he can hold for a year and lose tens of millions. Best case scenario, Harry stays and we qualify for CL. How much is that worth to the club? Probably not even as much as we'd get for Kane this summer.

Look at what happened with Eriksen.
If he keeps him for a year and we get top four (and that's what Levy will expect) then that's worth almost that amount and he gets another year to persuade him.

What you're predicting has never happened. Eriksen wasn't the heart and soul of the club, the best player, the biggest name in the country. He was a good midfielder that had been out of form for a year that wasn't even playing.

Levy will screw every penny out of them he thinks he can and if they won't get close to the valuation then they can want all they like

He does seem to be keen on the move, but nowhere reporting he’s “pushing” or “desperate”

Out of interest why do you think hes keen? A good few journalists/pundits have said dont underestimate the power of a happy and settled family. I personally cant see him moving overseas.

If we accept a bid from a top club I'm sure he does leave. It's not like he's going to turn it down but it's still a big IF we agree to sell. I just don't see it and not for less than 100m.

If I was him, I would stay one more season see how the club perform, as a free agent he will get massive signing on fee and a great salary at his next club if he moves on.

Bayern simply wouldn't have bothered making an offer if Kane or his reps hadn't encouraged them that he'd be up for moving there.

With just a year left on his contract, Kane's camp would be remiss not to sound out the market for options. He may well be "open" to Bayern at least to see what offer they can put on the table, and to stir competitive interest from other top clubs. "Bayern are offering X per week, what can you offer" etc.

There would be no bid if camp Kane is not considering it.

Plus those saying sell him abroad is the best option. Yeah it could be, but he could hate it and be back in England in 12 months and that wouldnt surprise me at all. He wouldnt be coming back to us either.

Ian Rush once said about his time at Juventus "it was like living in a foreign country". Wouldnt surprise me if Kane went that he would have the same attitude.
Yeah, he's and his Mrs have always struck me as rabbits in the sense that they don't really want to stray far from their warren.
They've grown up together and have spent their entire lives in London, couple that with a young family and a large support network around them, the idea of moving abroad is a daunting one.

It's down to Levy and Ange to convince him over this next season but I don't think it's a certainty that he won't extend, especially if he's enjoying himself here.

Find it bizarre that people think his legacy will be improved by winning trophies with a club that would win them anyway, with or without him.

If he is genuinely up for going there we really should be looking at doing something with them

He's going next summer so best we get to choose somewhere abroad for him to go and get some wonga, in the grand scheme of things one more season, where his heart wont be completely in it, is irrelevant

If he wants to go, he needs to go now. Only reason he should be staying this summer is if he signs a new deal

Honestly cant believe people are happy to see him go for nothing to a rival next summer. Small time.
