PSG were in the news recently, but I think that rumor has been quashed (by Kane's people by the sound of it.)

I can't see Levy selling to a PL at any price - but maybe an outrageous fee.

I'm not sure Real or Barça have the money, and I can't see Kane wanting to go to Italy.

Maybe he wants to join Messi in Miami...

Seriously though - I think its Bayern or bust this summer. Normally I think Bayer would be able to ride this out until the end of the window with a low offer, but I think Bayern need Kane, almost as much as Spurs would need to sell - so, if Kane will never sign a new deal, then we can probably reach a fair price.
This is what I think could well happen because it would appear the fear of Kane walking away for nothing overrides the sentiment of selling to a rival.

I think it is time to sell.

Finally reinforce the defense, give Richarlison a chance in a more dynamic team and personally I would sign Ivan Toney ready for January.

Kind of is different though in that a fee might actually been known. Previously reports were we wouldn't sell (outside of a massive transfer record type fee) but now reports are coming out that are not saying that anymore.
Gary Jacobs isn't clickbait journo.

So much smoke around now that we might need to start considering the possibility that he won't be here in September

It needs to happen sharpish then, can’t be starting the season with him & selling him on deadline day 🤷🏼‍♀️

If he doesn’t want to be here, sell him to Bayern for £90m and insist on a first option to buy clause when he decides to leave there.

Agree. Partly because I actually have a lot more trust in the funds being well spent than I did before.

It’s clear Kane wants to go to Bayern however, they are reluctant to pay more than £80m and we want £100m.

Only way I see it happening is if there is a player willing to come to us, that we also like and who has a value that could be ‘exaggerated’ to make it seem like a £100m deal.

Only ones that makes sense are gravenberch, goretzka and sabitzer.

gravenberch is the only one I would take there and doubt he would come to us with Liverpool interested.

You’ve come to that conclusion just?

I don't think £20m is an insurmountable difference in valuation.

Levy should keep it short and sweet like Barca did when PSG were after Neymar. Name the price and if Bayern don’t pay up by a certain date we’re not interested anymore. Do it publicly to put pressure on Bayern.

This is assuming we want to sell Kane and he wants to leave. Personally, I would rather keep him but that’s not up to us.

Ivan toney in this system would be very good
The more I think about Toney the better I think he would be for us. Fits in to the Bissouma/Maddison/Richarlison mould of signing players with plenty of Premier League experience but still have a solid 5 or 6 years in the at the highest level.

As you say his style of play would work in our system, and he'll only have 18 months left of his contract in Jan so Brentford might consider cashing in.

The only deadline that matters is 1st September.

Said early part of this year that Kane is likely to leave this summer and got negative ratings for it. Honestly believe some are in denial in terms of it actually happening. Yes, he may end up running down his contract but ultimately he will leave imo.

Cold hard facts are, we have a world class striker, a commodity which is not easy to come across, who we can't offer any form of European competition nor can he challenge for the league while at us. At 30 years old, think he deserves a chance to go elsewhere and win something rather than be stuck in another rebuild which long term won't lead to anything under these owners.

We absolutely have to bring another forward this window if Kane goes. Tony is a good option for January if either the new striker or Richarlison aren't up to the task in the first half of the season.

A lot of people seem to be ok with him going because it’s not an English club. But I can absolutely see someone like Man U giving Bayern their money back on Kane in a year’s time. English clubs know they’ve got no chance with Levy, but Bayern will pick up the phone at least.

On the other hand, if he becomes a free agent that brings Madrid and Barcelona right back into the equation, then it’s not a given that he goes to an English club.

I just don’t think it’s so clear cut what happens in either scenario.
