Not for the club or Kane. For Bayern.

This is all on them. If they really want him, make a proper offer. It's pretty simple.
I think they all need to make it clear what they want. We keep hearing that Kane is open to anything, but won’t consider a contract while the window is open. Well if that’s the case, then it’s on us and Bayern. We really should have given them a deadline to make their serious offer. If they don’t meet it, then we make clear no deal is available, to be honest this should be the case whatever Kane wants to do, if he’s desperate to leave, then hand in a request, but there should still be a deadline so we aren’t left short.

Kane didn't cost us a transfer fee, if he honours his contract and goes on a free next year then so be it. Personally I'll be happy to see another season of the best Spurs player I've seen in my life, and he'll smash it in an attacking Ange team.

None of us know if a deadline to make a serious offer has been made or not. If it is I doubt it would be expressed publicly.

Kane is not going to come out and say anything, stupid to assume that he would to be honest.

I love Harry and appreciate all of the exciting moments he has produced.
There have been a number of excellent opportunities to win trophies and our side has most certainly had the talent to accomplish it. The players must accept their own responsibility for the failures. The losing mentality has been in the squad for years. Our longest serving players are surely responsibility for that?

if Harry leaves to chase trophies, I don’t blame him. However, it is as much an admission of his own personal failings and shortcomings as it is of the club’s.

Bayern really are doing everything humanly possible to ensure they dont get Kane. It’s some new garbage every week. Are they just not used to clubs not bending over for them so they are acting out? Strange behavior from that club.

Levy should scheme with PSG. Get them to put in an offer we’ll accept. Kane will say no but it will look like we did try to sell him like he wants & will show bayern the price.

I always think this. If he goes to Bayern and wins the league is that really going to elevate him to another level in terms of how everyone looks at him?!

Kane doesn't need elevating, he is known worldwide as one of the top 5 strikers in the world. Your seeing it through your Spurs fan tinted glasses, Bayern think Harry will make the difference for them in the champions league, same as how City viewed signing Harland.

When Serie A was booming in the 80's and 90's and La Liga in the Noughties, was english footie crap?
I dont get the need to put down other leagues, when we as Spurs fans ain't seen trophy success in a long long time.

I actually think we’d be better without him. The caveat being I probably think that out of forced acceptance but the whole saga feels like a British mannered version of Ronaldo/Man Utd.

He clearly thinks, and has thought since at least the City shambles, that he is better than to play for Tottenham. That he deserves better. I just can’t see how that is good for the squad morale. Especially when he holds the vice/co captain role. Which he isn’t very good at. He’s shown time and again for England and Spurs that he can’t grab his players by the scruff of the neck and get them back into games. I might be wrong, but I’m those games (for Spurs at least) he doesn’t attribute our failure with his failure. He feels Spurs have failed him not that he has had an active role in that failure to win trophies. If he stays, he will have to be captain, I think he will be a poor captain because he is not a good leader. I think that is likely to stunt our progress.

I think now with Lloris gone, it might be a good time to get a complete new player leadership in the squad along with the new manager. A lot of people have complained that they don’t want a manager that thinks they are better than the club, but are happy to have a player that thinks he is?
You make some very valid points here. If I may add, the extent to which the rest of the team appear to defer to Kane isn't always healthy. His apparent insistence on taking free kicks, even though he clearly isn't good at them, being one example. Others being compelled to step up in his absence may benefit the team as a whole.

I’m sort of done with this whole saga now. He doesn’t want to be here. He won’t sign a new contract. Ange is the kind of guy who can the most out of a group of players, rather than rely on a few stars

If Bayern come up with 100m, sell him

Would imagine Mbappe throws a spanner in the works, given he’s a bigger name, younger, and PSG seem to want him out.

Doubtful.

Mbappe is reportedly set to receive. something like £50m in salary and then another chunk of cash as long as he sees out his contract with PSG.

PSG reportedly would want north of £160m in a transfer fee to sell him off.

Now the Saudis are trying to get in the Mbappe game and (depending on the report you see/believe) are willing to meet the price PSG have set and are willing to offer Mbappe ~£340m/year contract. One report even has the Saudis willing to let him leave after 1 season to join Real Madrid.

Mbappe's camp says he fully intends to see out his contract in Paris for what it's worth.

So, even with the absurd amount of money Bayern have it doesn't make financial sense for them to jump in and try and convince Mbappe to join them especially if he is set on going to Real next year.

Levy hates to feel like he's getting played. He won't appreciate these tactics at all. No way that this pushes Levy to compromise. If anything it will make him add more to the value needed. Bayern, just like City before, need to put up or shut up. So far neither side has shown any real firm intent to sign him. If you're Kane surely you notice this. They don't really want him. They're interested if they can get a deal, but that's it.
Of course they want him. It's a negotiation and every party is simply trying to do what's best for them. It's how it works. You say Bayern don't really want Kane. I think it is the other way around actually, Kane does not really want Bayern and his real interests lie closer to home.

The lack of ITK on this is what worries me. Like clearly they will have thoughts and insights but keeping stum worries me

Maybe no transfer fee though we paid his wages and trained and helped develop him so its not been all for nothing.
Your view is short term, if he goes and we get a player in that will be here for years to come and wants to stay then the club carries on.
If he is not signing a contract then should just let him go.
If you miss him that much just watch where ever he plays next!

No I know he doesn’t. I’m saying this from the perspective of other people and why they say he needs to leave Spurs.
