Notts Forest didn’t even get relegated either. He scored 8 PL goals not even playing as a striker and some have said he’s a championship player? Makes no sense. His price is too high though, which means we wouldn’t sign him anyway. However this overrating of players that barely anyone has ever seen play live and slating players we all have seen who have performed well in the league we’re in is an odd one.
I see him as a wing forward/attacking midfielder. I've watched him play on the telly around 15 times.

We have been scouting him for over 2 years

I don’t want the £100 million extra coz it’s not my money and Levy won’t spend it well are 2 arguments I can’t get my head around. Might as well not spend any money ever then and not bother yourself with any spurs related transfer stuff if it has to be your money for you to care.
Yeah I agree with this. I fall on the we can't replace him but can add to the quality around him with or without the Kane sale, side of the fence.

One real quality CB plus a young option and keeping Kane, is far better than two quality CB's and a young CF option imo. My belief is that we have to remain competitive during this rebuild or we could face losing more players next season. We will 100% be more competitive with Kane in the side than if he isn't.

Get everything else in place, improve as a team and get back into Europe and all we will need to bring in next season is a CF to replace Harry if he doesn't pen a new deal.

Agree and I am of the opinion that we worry about contract later. 4 Months of Ange's style of football could change Kanes mind if has scored for fun

Imagine Kane bags 15 goals before Christmas he'd surely see the benefits of staying and beating Haaland

This would be ideal but we are all going round in circles with this... if we keep Kane then will Levy stump up the cash for 2 top quality CB's and even then does Kane want to stay (seems like he prefers the Bayern move if we can agree it) so keeping an unhappy camper won't be great for squad morale when everyone is buying into a fresh start with Ange.

There are pros and cons to both situations but agree that the above is the ideal scenario but its looking more likely Kane will go, if so hopefully we then sign 2x top CB's a young ST and Richy hits the ground running in this new system and we get goal contributions from lots of other players too.

To dare is too do dear
Show ambition
(Reports Kane might stay)
But he could leave for nothing next year
Poor Richarlison

He's not going to go to Chelsea, and if he ever did, he'd torch his legacy so badly that I don't think I'd even care so much about the history anyway as he would not be the player I'd thought him to be all along. I'd rather deal with reality, come what may, personally.

No chance.
I hope you are right but if Poch gets them playing well and looking like they can win something it will be a big draw. City don't need him and that leaves ManU and Chelsea

He won't get the chance to, Kane is never subbed or rested. Richarlison spent last season playing bit parts anywhere except the CF position.
I think he will to an extent.

Kane won't be dropped but with the running Ange wants he will be subbing forwards off to maintain pressing.

Isn't Ange known for swapping out attacking players more often due to the intensity of the tactics?

Hope that's the case, although I'm not sure how Kane getting subbed and rested more will result in him signing a new contract. He doesn't seem like the kind to take that well.

Completely- honestly, if Richi (a player in his prime) is only going to play a bit part in his best position, would we not be better off selling him and reinvesting?

Honestly, it’s not a good use of resources having that (what is essentially) money tied up in a reserve when our first team has obvious holes

The striker situation is a mess

Yeah he was being scouted by Paratici the same time he was looking at Spence IIRC from reading reports at the time. With Paratici sill working for the club on a consultancy basis it makes sense why we are being linked to him.
