Feels far too close now for Bayern to back out. Surely they push a few more quid our way to get it over the line...

This is from Sky Sports 30 min. ago:

Bayern Munich have submitted their final offer for Harry Kane and now want a quick decision from Tottenham.

The German champions are ready to move on and look at other targets if Spurs drag their heels in response.

Bayern's offer for the 30-year-old is worth more than €100m euros (£86.24m) with add-ons included, according to Sky in Germany.

Kane wants to have his future resolved before Tottenham's opening Premier League game of the new season at Brentford on Sunday August 13.

For me, the minimum is £100m basic, with add ons on top of that.
I'd also be wanting the majority of that wedge up front, just because they've been giving it the biggun for the last few weeks.
Make them put their money where their massive mouth is.

Ridiculous phrasing "add-ons included". Could mean either. Why can't they just say the fixed fee rising to the fee if all bonuses are met?

We need to not include the add-ons as part of the transfer when thinking about the figure we are selling for. Bayern have just done Liverpool out of £7.5 million with the Mane sale. If things are not going well for Kane in Germany next year then Bayern could easily sell Kane for what they paid as a base figure and we lose out more than Liverpool.

I would rather Kane stays and signs a new deal, but if there's no sign of that then I hope Levy gets the best deal possible now - particularly given there's no bidding war - and then reinvests in the team.

If we're struggling to find the money for our top CB target then that money will be useful, because we need to fix the defence whether Kane stays or goes.

Again, before I get down voted, I'd rather he stays.

It's a shame if he goes but the real reason is that the team around Kane (as in, our playing squad and our recent managers) have been handled badly over the last few seasons. That's on Levy and the board.

I wouldn’t have even met with them unless they were offering £100 million as a starting point.

People thinking a £14million difference isn't that much need to remember they've already come up from their starting bid by £20million it's an awful lot over the price they wanted to pay.

Because some bonuses don’t necessarily have a definite end point. Eg. If it’s an extra 1m for each 50 games started then its obviously dependent on how many appearances he ultimately plays.

I'm from the camp that wants us to keep Kane whilst there is even just 5% chance of him potentially staying past next season. He's our best ever player.

What I will say now though is that if we are over the £100m mark it is getting to the point where I can understand a deal go through and try and spin it positively in my head should it happen (which many in here have appeared to do already).

Is this the first report we've seen that they have other targets?

Love to know pollwise right now how many think he will stay and go and how many would take a package of 100mil euros or not would be interesting to see how everyone feels right now.

I cannot believe that no team in world football is willing to pay a fair price for Harry fucking Kane but I'll take it no problem.

I think it's in Levy's wheelhouse to reject this bid, and play chicken with these "deadlines"

I still hope he'll stay. Looks like it's anyone's guess right now.

I wouldn't take 100m euros. Still not enough.

One thing that has pissed me off about this whole saga is how the English media have basically acted as an outpost of Bayern’s marketing department. According to them this was all done weeks ago
