Scenes when we spend the Kane money and then Kane thinks "man this is looking good now I think I'll stay" and refuses to leave. Finally we showed some ambition.
That would be perfect. Force levy to sign the players and then sit back and enjoy playing with them.

Unlike Bale who was a phenomenon Harry never caught the eye as an 18 year old because he wasn't fast or full of tricks so I was in the reserving judgement camp but my son said he dominates at every age he plays give him a couple of years and he'll be strong enough for the Premier league and he'll dominate that too and he was right, that's exactly how it turned out.

Will be hard to see Kane leave, only positive I’m taking from this is we won’t have to see him playing against us in a premier league rivals team.

Would have been good seeing him playing with Maddison in an attacking team but time to move on now. Good luck to Harry over there, hope he smashes it.

Pretty calm about HK leaving tbh.

It feels better because we have a new manager, with new ideas, with the aim of getting us playing balls-out attacking football again.
If it was still Conte/Mourinho in charge, then it would be sheer panic and doom and gloom.
Fair point tbh. I just saw the goat’s itk and £110m is hard to not accept. It will feel so weird without Kane in the team tho.

One of my favourite moments of Kane was when he booted the ball from the halfway line into the stands at Old Trafford.. Think we won that one 3-2

When shit goes wrong at home, my Mrs, she likes to sit around and feel all the feelings, like really soak the negativity in, I on the other hand deal with it and move on as quickly as possible, I really dont like stopping and feeling bad if I can help it. This feels just like that, some people want to feel all the feelings and others want to just get it over and done with so we can get on with life. As a Club, we need it done now and move on, this Kane story is bleeding into everything and just leeching all the excitement of a new season under a new attacking manager. I do want him to stay, but I feel like this is Harry Tottenham Kane Hotspur.

Intriguing no reveal of Madders' shirt number yet when Biss has revealed his beloved no. 8. Reckoned Madders will be taking 10 if Kane is leaving.
I made a comment two weeks ago saying that Maddison will probably hold off picking a number to see if Kane goes and got a number of down votes. Personally I still think that is the only reason he hasn’t officially chosen a number.

Why would he even care about the number of down votes you got?

We’re replacing Kane with Brazils No.9.

Whoever we bring in will be Richarlison’s replacement.
I don’t dispute that, but we had Richarlison last season. If we are playing Richarlison as a 9, then sign a quality productive winger. Why not look at Mitoma, or a similar profile?

While I respect Bayern as a club, it just feels like a less ambitious place to go for winning titles. It is not like they are "competing" for the title season in season out like Barca, Real or Inter Milan, AC Milan etc. It their title to lose every season. Its more of a shock when they dont win the domestic trophies in a season. And in Europe, they have been in just 1 more final than we have in the last 10 years. What difference does it makes to Kane's career if he goes to Bayern and wins the titles by default ? Then the narrative will shift to number of trophies.

That's one way to put it - the other way is to say they won the Champions league 4 years ago :D

I would say that it is just the opportunity to win a title and feel that maybe he can be the difference in the CL.

The difference would be staying at Spurs his whole career and not winning titles by default.

Dead is kinda harsh. But I agree with you with the tin pot cups. There is no status in winning Bundesliga. They have won Bundesliga 11 years in a row.

Sure, they have the chance to win CL. But at the same time, they have two titles in that tournament over the last 20 years. So its not a super big chance for him to win that.

Tin pot cup or no cup might have been his thought process

With Kane, Bayern will be a contender for the CL. Even if they’re a step behind City and Madrid, knockout tournaments aren’t always won by the best teams the way leagues almost invariably are. They’ll be in with a shout.

Win one CL and Kane will have permanently silenced the haters and the doubters.

It’s just a tragedy that Levy’s mismanagement of the club over the past 6-7 years has meant that Kane feels that staying at the club for his entire career is too big of a risk for his legacy.

All this legacy nonsense was just the media trying to get him to leave spurs. You don’t hear these conversations for other players.
