While I respect Bayern as a club, it just feels like a less ambitious place to go for winning titles. It is not like they are "competing" for the title season in season out like Barca, Real or Inter Milan, AC Milan etc. It their title to lose every season. Its more of a shock when they dont win the domestic trophies in a season. And in Europe, they have been in just 1 more final than we have in the last 10 years. What difference does it makes to Kane's career if he goes to Bayern and wins the titles by default ? Then the narrative will shift to number of trophies.

Is seems you are deluded. Surely better to win a title there than nothing with us.
Then to compare us to them in terms of European comps, we fucked it last season and have no European football and are a project at the moment with no guarantee of immediate success.

All this legacy nonsense was just the media trying to get him to leave spurs. You don’t hear these conversations for other players.
How many other players who played at a world class level for 9 seasons have fuck all trophies to their names?

Compare him to Totti, who played out his entire career at a time when Roma were well behind Inter, Milan, and Juve, yet managed to win three domestic trophies and a World Cup.

There’s a reason Kane gets stick for this and others don’t. Among present-day, active players, there are none that combine his quality with his total lack of silverware. Blame none other than Daniel, who completely wasted the opportunity of a lifetime.

I imagine the British media are slightly miffed that he’s going abroad. Sky (and the rest) desperately wanted him at United, they have done for years. That’s what’s driven the constant badgering about him leaving or not.

Well now he’s leaving the premier league all they’ve achieved is to damage their product.

Spurs will feel like a funeral the day after Kane is gone.

I know that is a dramatic statement to make considering he is just a multi millionaire that has kicked a ball around the park. However, we know how much Kane means to the club and the fans. The pride and joy that Harry has brought to us for 90 minutes of each week has been absolutely priceless. He has been the heart and soul of the club for so long, it now seems or feels wrong that he wont be there anymore.

We've had some fantastic footballers play for this club and leave to go on to achieve better things. There was of course disappointment and sadness when they left but Kane leaving is something else. How do you carry on when Mr Tottenham leaves? The GOAT of Spurs.

I get the feeling, people in the media will be the happiest the most when Kane leaves. They have been obsessed for him to leave for a long time now. When he lifts the Bundesliga title next May, he'll be happy but it wont be true happiness, he'd be wishing it was with Spurs.

Ultimately, we are all Spurs fans first, we were Spurs before Harry got here and we will still be Spurs when he leaves.

I would normally agree with this but going to Bayern he is not winning a title he is "collecting" a title and not much of an achievement to be fair.

He does get to play the Champions league but the chances of Bayern winning with Kane is about the same as Spurs winning the league without Kane in my opinion. My opinion might be a bit skewed as I have never been a Bayern fan and with the stunts they pulled in this Kane saga just shows how disrespectful the whole club is.

I would say that it is just the opportunity to win a title and feel that maybe he can be the difference in the CL.

I think at Spurs we’ve been too keen to focus in on Shearer’s record ( imo
partly to convince us he’s more likely to stay).

I’m sure he wanted ( still wants) to break it, but I think maybe it’s not as important to him as we think it is.

Apart from Bayern being one of the biggest clubs in the world, it’s probably easier to settle there than in Spain or Italy.

Another factor to consider is that there aren’t many British players to make a success of moving abroad and I can totally see Kane seeing that as a challenge in itself ( as well as winning titles).

Well the official odds for Spurs winning the league with or without Kane is 50/1, if you can get me those odds for Bayern winning the CL after signing Kane I'd bite your hand off

I don't like Bayern either, the media tactics sucked - but as I said above, they won the bloody thing very recently, 19/20 I think. I'm not sure where this 'Shit in Europe' thing is coming from, they really aren't. I don't think they've failed to get out of the group stages of the CL in over a decade.
