I still thinks this happens somehow, surely BM have invested too much time and effort in a VERY public way to let it slip now. It will be one of those ones which will be at 10pm on their supposed deadline day. I HOPE I AM WRONG!

Kane and Maddison with our new defense, something is really cooking! On paper we are better than arsenal, and they are title contenders.
Sorry bro, think you may have a gotten a little excited there

Definitely in with a shout of that Top 5 though. Definitely

I’ll be so shocked if Bayern comes in with another offer. They have been totally embarrassed by levy, and should literally leave now with their tails between their legs.

Dortmund fans are laughing at them.

Bayern have been Levy’d! Need a meme for this.
And they can't afford to wait much longer... because they really need a new striker... so I think we have the upper hand here 👍

All the more reason that i think they come back with another bid (better money or add-ons or payment structure etc) that is much more in line with what Levy wanted.

I think Bayern want to spin this as "See, we will stop at nothing to get what we feel is the final piece of the puzzle!" to their supporters. I think their board are getting caught in a sunk cost moment. We have spent all this time trying to get him and the market is shit so we have limited to no other options for players at his level, if we don't get him we wasted an entire window for nothing.

Funnily enough i have seen some BM supporters saying that they wish the board would focus on a holding mid and not a striker as they think that is the more pressing piece of the puzzle.

Too many unknowns on that. Namely Vicario and the fact we've only brought in one CB.
Front 3 is better though. They don’t have a world class striker still. Also our midfield is pretty solid, so let’s see how VDV, Romero, Udogie.

Rumors that Kane has signed a deal with Skechers to be their first boot wearer.

Honestly, as an NBA fan, that worries me a little. I've seen plenty of players go to the "new" brand in the space and quickly end up ruining their knees and feet.
why not the new boots bring him good luck? he scored four when he wore them...

Our defence is currently all over the place. As much as Ange's tactics look to create so many more goalscoring opportunities, it's been clear from the little preseason action we've had that we are so open at the back. We've had 3 mediocre teams in west ham, lion city sailors and shakhtar all expose the defence. Any half decent counter attacking team will look to exploit that.

Until we can see some improvements - and there's no guarantees with the likes of VDV - then we are not up there with the title contenders.

He has a release clause of zero at the moment
Yeah that's my point, doors are wide open for him for next season so the only way I see him putting pen to paper on a new deal is with a clause that allows him to move for a sensible fee should he deem he wants to after this season. Would obviously be a win win for us as we would get to keep him another season and wouldn't have him leave for nothing. The far more likely thing though is him going in the next few days or running down his contract and moving to a rival next season.

I really hope he stays and I don't want to piss on anybody's cornflakes but didn't ITKs suggest that an acceptable offer had been received and we were going to try to do our business before announcing

If so then slipping a story of having rejected a / 'the final' bid to the likes of Ornstein would make perfect sense to make selling clubs think we didn't suddenly have £100m...

Levy would sell on deadline day i've no doubt but thankfully I don't think Kane would move then.

They’ll cone back with another bid. Whether it’s finally acceptable or not is another question. With how much they’ve embarrassed themselves, they might want to go over that so that they know for sure it’ll be accepted. Otherwise, they risk getting more egg on their faces. They arent used to not being able to push a club around. But they also arent used to actually paying a fair price for a player.

It should now a “do we just bite the bullet & avoid further embarrassment in the eyes of our supporters or do we go elsewhere & go all out for Vlahovic.” But of course with the way they’ve conducted themselves, im thoroughly expecting a £90m with a further 15 in add ons bid that they’ll call a big improvement to endure mouth pieces even thoughts its just making £5m of the original add ons part of the base price.

He's only signed up to them for the free golf shoes

Not really. Nothing to say that Levy will definitely agree to sell if his contract offers aren’t accepted. Those offer mitigate the risk but that doesn’t mean he isn’t happy to assume complete risk of losing him for free but still trying to persuade him in the meantime
That's how you read the latest information?
You keep believing mate.

Surely, surely Bayern won't leave the deal on this note.

They are not used to being denied.
The issue for them is the target player by now has come out with a statement saying he wants the move or is clearly agitating for the move

not just banged in 4 in a pre season friendly
