Honestly can't see either side backing down. I can't see Bayern pay what Levy wants or for Levy to accept any less. Hope so anyway.
Funnily enough at the very beginning of the window this was what a lot of people thought would happen: Bayern would never match Levy's asking price.

Didn't think it would play out quite like this, though (if that's what happens...)

Even if Bayern bid what we initially asked for I think Levy will reject it. They had a lot of time to pay what we wanted.

I think
They've also thrown in a special edition Bayern branded lederhosen along with a ticket to the Allianz Arena Skywalk and a €5 voucher* for Levy to spend in the Bayern club shop

* T&C's apply, voucher only to be used in person for purchase of Kane branded Bayern shirt. voucher only redeemable on 31st Dec after 9pm

Maybe they should have given Ribery a voucher to buy a soda. He's the only one without a drink in the picture.

It does sort of feel like they had expected Kane to push hard for a move to give them leverage, and as far as I can tell that doesn’t seem to have happened at all, at least not yet…

Absolutely no indication Bayern are gonna get anywhere close to that. Intriguing how last week they were 20-25m apart, and now if reports and O'Keefe are correct they're now 30m behind. This combined with the first reports today that Harry is leaning towards staying, and I once again am trying not to get too excited.
I don't think the £140m comment should be taken literally, it's just to illustrate that whatever BM offer, Levy wants the large majority of it right now. So if they're going to offer E110m then we want a ton on a cheque before they've left the room.

man, can people not read? POK is not saying that it will take £140M to let Kane go, rather that it's about the structure of the payments (ie, big chunk upfront) + how realistic the add-ons are

If Lewandowski was worth £43m to Bayern last summer aged 33 then surely Kane is worth £100m guaranteed given he would have been 3 years younger.

If Harry ends up staying, the club should send the ‘shirt journalist’ a pair of Y-fronts with his name printed on them, suitably soiled with crunchy peanut butter.

If Harry stays I hope someone with a portable projector will project all of Kane's goals onto that Florian prick's IMAX-sized forehead.

Or stands outside his house holding up the same mocked up Kane shirt, with his name crossed out.

The ‘including add ins’ is the real kicker.
They could be any figure with not all activated.
As a guess £10m-£20m so really the fee for Kane there drops to £70m/£80m
Add ons should definitely be extra not included in the upfront figure.

£100m guaranteed or stop wasting everyone’s time.

As it’s been said. The joy on my daughter’s (6) face cheering Kane on at the weekend was priceless.
A £50m replacement and a figure in the bank won’t bring that pleasure. £50m striker 15 goals, 1st season best.

The closer it gets to the beginning of the season or in normal circumstances the end of the window... the price should go UP.

As it leaves the selling club less time to get in reinforcements.

Should be £120m plus addons now... or just tell them to do one.

All Levy has to do is reject the offer that's incoming and tell them to piss off. He always says he does stuff for the benefit of the club so prove it by rejecting the money even if we risk losing him for free. Losing Kane now wouldn't help the club at all, give Ange the best chance to succeed. We don't need to make 8 more signings and we have loads of players to sell to make up the money we would get for Kane. I'm hoping he's just talking to them to show Kane he would listen to offers so Kane isn't pissed off for the season.

Did I read somewhere that if they didn’t meet the valuation by last Friday, that the price would start going up the longer they took ? Was there any reasonable credit to that ?
