I see it the other way round.

The club leaking this to the press would be terrible PR as it shows the fans that Levy was willing to sell their best ever player and it was only Kane turning it down that stopped that happening. It would just feed into the narrative that Levy/ENIC will do anything for money.

Totally disagree. Seems more sensible they would put the ball in his court ie he has the 3 options - contract with Spurs, big money transfer to CL contenders or fuck Spurs over next year. He now needs to publicly make that choice and it will the latter with loads of platitudes through the year just like Judas. I am sure there will be loads and loads of rumours of a new contract but it will all be Levy's fault that he decided he had to go on a mega money free transfer to a PL rival.
