Kane signing a 2 year extension with some kind of break/release clause next summer if we’re miles off it again this season would seem like the fairest outcome for all surely.

Why would Kane and Bayern start leaking he was 50/50 unless he wasn’t going to go? If he was to turn up there it wouldn’t be the best start for either of them.
So Kane saves face ie. he goes with a heavy heart

Kane camp and levy are talking now levy wants commitment from Kane if he doesn’t go now after he showed his hand🖐️

Emotional Damage

The club is no longer willing to remain uncertain about Harry's intentions. While he initially set the pace, the club has since caught up, and Harry now appears hesitant about that potential move. Spurs' willingness to keep him hinges on a commitment, which Levy is now pushing for. While this doesn't necessarily imply an impending new deal, the club is keen to avoid a protracted saga and prevent Harry from gaining leverage after the transfer window closes.

At least if Kane turns them down they won’t be back. Must say tho, why would they even bother putting in a bid if he wasn’t happy to go. Maybe if it was a chancer bid but BM have been working on this for ages, you’d think they would be in constant contact with clan Kane. Idk, I feel like there’s a lot more too this then is in the press. I do think he stays tho, for now, otherwise this would have been done in the morning.
Got to remember their contact within clan Kane is agent-supremo Charlie Kane.

He doesn't have to do anything of the sort. What are we going to do send him off to train with the kids?

There's been too many people just assuming that him staying this summer means a new contract.

Kane would be an absolute idiot to give away such leverage over the club.

Imagine we'll get a tweet later today from Harry Kane saying that he's decided to stay and that he's excited to give his all for Spurs this year.

Happy for everyone that was in the 'Keep Kane at all costs' camp, as I could understand their arguments (y)

But personally I'm already dreading what happens next Summer. I feel that the issue has been just kicked down the road, and with the contract situation, I feel it's just gone past the road and off a cliff.
Apologies for negativity.

Sign Orban. Loan him out.

Next year decide who to sell, promote, loan out of Richy, Son, Orban, Veliz, Scarlett.

No £100m value striker is coming straight to us anyway. It was always going to be someone we’d have to grow.

Kane will be going to USA / Saudi by 2028. we’ll have got 1 of his next 3 peak years.

We’ll have lost probably 70% of his remaining value. Which is worth it for our best player in 140 years.

We can also reinvest the massive signing on fee and wages we would have paid him back into the team.

And if we’re successful he might just stay another year.

To dare is to do, not to fret about our net spend

Good - exactly what the club should be doing - he's been dangling this 'I want to leave' thread over the clubs head and destabilising things for far too long. Commit or move should be his options.

There really is very little Levy can do. Kane is in complete control of this situation.
