I would have thought permission to travel to the buyer was baked in if the seller agreed to sell to the buyer. Why are these sagas frequently ‘different’ when we are involved

Just really pleased that my son got to see Harry play in what turned out to be his last game for the club 💙

Let's get behind Ange . I mean let's really get behind Ange

What was the point of haggling for 2 critical weeks over an extra £10m, when your targets are either off the market or gone up in cost?

Throw in the disruption to the season, and knock on effects to CL revenues, and it’s a shambles from top to bottom.

As I’ve said, nothing has changed since Berbatov.
To be fair I think the difference in Bayerns first bid 2 or more weeks ago to this one is around £30mil so not just £10mil and its not as simple as you've suggested, Kane didn't return until later and Ange wanted to speak to him and sounds out the rest of the squad on tour etc.

I usually would fully be critical of how late we leave things and how Levy handles stuff like this but by all accounts we've tried to set deadlines and move this as quickly as we can, Berbatov was last day of the window, this is getting sorted tonight/tomorrow before the first game of the season and we've signed 5 key players already, so whilst certainly not ideal its not the same and things have 'changed' imo.

The question is just how will we cope if he does go and how quickly can we pull the trigger on say 3x new players to replace Kane once the deal is signed off if he decides to move there.

Not ideal but I do actually think given how complex this has all been we've handled it ok.

We just all want it sorted now so we can move on.

Don’t look at me. I’m irrelevant.

If anyone is feeling depressed I implore you not to read the third item in tomorrow's BBC gossip about a potential replacement.
The actual article is abysmal. It firstly says our priorities for a replacement are Taremi from Porto and Gift Orban. Then says the FANS priority is Lukaku. But there's a problem because Postecoglu doesn't appreciate his technical profile.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Can’t bring myself to wade through 70 pages of shite and the ITK thread hasn’t been updated, so I’m just gonna check Twitter in the morning and que sera sera.
There seems to be a lot of people who can't bring themselves to wade through pages of shit this evening. Can't you split them between you?

Fine, we move on with a new chapter under Ange.

Bloody annoying its not going to be sorted before his press conference tomorrow but I'm sure Ange will handle it all like a pro as he always does.

Ideal would be a club statement clarifying that we've given permission for Kane to have a medical at Bayern and there will be no further Q's on it.

Regardless of what happens I wake up tomorrow a Spurs fan. Harry staying or leaving does not change that. The sum of the club is greater than its parts, always has been, always will be.

Genuinely curious to know what the person who wrote that has been taking.

For history to repeat itself like with Berbatov. To lose our star player on the eve of a new season. To have spent months dragging it out, to dilly dally on replacements/signings, Bringing chaos, uncertainty and disruption to the squad and preparation is an absolute shambles

All in what is likely to be the most competitive season and hardest to get UCL

If we knew there was a chance. Give a number and give a deadline at the start of the window and stick to it

I have to doubt that Daniel, in his current position, is in a position to threaten to bench Harry Kane!

I don't think that was the main take away from the article, the main takeaway was; going back to a month ago as the media stated, that Levy will ensure that Kane is sold this summer.
