I know folks are getting all excited about him but he's a kid who has had one good season in the Belgian league. Now if you tell me we are getting him for 30ish and we are going to throw the other 60 mil on a top drawer CB I could get round it because we are looking to improve that starting XI. Looking more likely though that it will be a journey man CB from Torino and a player Barca are desperate to get out because they can't register players if they don't.
I actually think Fati is worth the risk - still only 20 years old. However I thought Schurrs would have been a cheaper target had Kane stayed and so that would be very underwhelming. If Richarlison is injured for over a month or so, we also need a striker.

Seriously though, what's happened to Fati? I thought he was the great Spanish hope and their youngest ever scorer in an International game.
He had two very bad knee injuries, that sat him back a bit. After that, he was quite unhappy with his playing time but didn't play well when he got the chance. he is therfore not having a good connection with xavi because of that.

Nevertheless, he is now beginning to show progress again and becomes better every game again. There are many voices in barcelona that see it as madness to sell him, as they think he is back on his way to become one if the best.

I would not be against this signing, as the potential is sky high. But a big club brings someone like that in while you have an established attacking line to challenge them, then also the risk is manageable for the right price.
For us on the other side it would be mayham if he would fail.

Let’s not lose sight of the reason why. He always said if we matched his ambition he would stay, but we failed him miserably in recent years and here we are. I don’t for one minute believe he would uproot his young family to Munich had Spurs been challenging or had he seen us behave like our Woolwich neighbours this window.

He knows we’re being left behind by our rivals and so I don’t blame him for leaving.
Of course. He caused the damage and i'll never forgive him for that. But has made the right decision in limiting it this summer.

We've all known he was going, this isn't a surprise, but undertandably it hurts.

On the brightside:

he's gone to another league and we dont have the pain of seeing him in the prem.

We brought in a striker and gave him a year to settle before kane left

we're also looking at young strikers

Onwards and upwards 🤞

If the
Given the money isn’t even in our account yet and the deal hasn’t been completed I think getting annoyed about signing the sort of players you suggest (when recent signings semi-refute it) is a little premature. I get the frustration at Kane being sold but there is a need to detect whether things being said by ITKs are opinion or not.
If the ITK’s posts on the subject are only opinion then you are absolutely correct and I’ll be the first to hold my hand up but I’ve read and re-read their posts and it doesn’t sound just opinion to me but time will tell. 👍😊

Sad he's gone, and there isn't really anyone to blame but Levy and the board. It hurts losing a talisman such as Kane, but at least I won't have to see him playing week in and week out for another team. Bayern will win the league at a canter with or without him and nobody but Germans watch the BuLi anyway.

Bayern can do one.

In recent years ENIC have yet to adequately replace Toby, Jan and Moussa.

I don’t have high hopes that they can replace 25 goals guaranteed a season.

Richi himself has said this is “Fake” on Instagram.
