The willingness of our fanbase to believe every single piece of negative reporting about us (and particularly Levy), never ceases to amaze me.

Nobody hate Spurs as much as Spurs fans.

If this is real it shows quite how far away Levy is from understanding or caring about the fan base opinion. Worrying.
If what is real? Selling him?
I’d say it is 50:50 on here with some like me selling keep at all cost (and accept risk of next summer) and those who want him to go because they want money and no chance of him going to a rival for free.

Best young strikers....

Mbappe - out of our league
Oshimhen - wont come leaving high flying Napoli
Muani - Already agreed personal terms with PSG (EDIT : Seems Ramos went to PSG. which means Muani is a good prospect signing)
Moukko - still raw , not sure he is the real deal
Ferguson - same as above
Goncalo Ramos - meh ,not sure in PL (EDIT : seems he already signed with PSG)
Vlahovic - 4 goals for Juve since Oct2022. Not sure in PL
Alvarez - will City sell him ?
J David - profiles well. Good player , but lacks physicality & aerial

Orban for me profiles well. He is raw but cheap. He lacks aerial ability but physically strong.

Personally I would go for Orban (25-30m) and Ivan Toney (50m) to join in Jan after his ban

Other way to play this, put that 80m on a Kvaratsheila or Mitoma and move Son upfront. At the very least we will improve the XI in some manner

But given this is Levy, I guess we will get Lukaku on loan

Agree with this- there is no striker that we can realistically bring in to replace Kane so we need to go with Son, Richarlison and then have Velez in reserve. I'd much rather use the £100M + other sales to make other areas of the pitch elite quality. Doku out wide for 1v1s, Lavia/Thuram/Kone for CM ball progression/press-resistance and then Tapsoba at CB. £150M in total probably but you then have 3 potentially world class players to develop over the next few years.

Love Kane so much and even I can see it’s now time to move on. Back Ange with all of the money on players in whatever way he sees fit and get behind him. And let’s get behind the team completely. This is the start of a new era. Onwards and upwards.
COYS! 🤍

Disappointed in Kane

young players come from German league to Prem not the other way around. It’s similar to going to Celtic in a way, it’s just a 1 club league.

I don’t see the ambition or achievement of winning with the club that always wins he could of gone anywhere next year
So moving to another prem club on a free would’ve made you happy? He’s probably done the best thing for this club apart from signing a new contract of course.

But he's not majority owner is he?

I thought he owned 30%?

Joe Lewis and ENIC owning the rest? Surely someone is scrutinising his performance?

Didnt lewis sign his part over to a trust? So won't beh im now.

Potentially semantics but what player isn't a gamble? Of the players we're needing to shift out atm, a lot of them when bought seemed like good ideas/investments etc...
They are all gambles mate but there are levels. If I sign a young striker that's banged in 20 goals in serie A for 2 seasons running scoring against all the top teams it's not the same level of risk as a striker that has scored 20 goals 2 seasons running for Dover Athletic.

Miguel Delaney now saying we want £110M - I knew that Caicado news had got Levy in a panic!
Fab has said “small conditions”. Seems like that’s a pretty headline thing to want to amend … the purchase price of the fucking asset. Jesus.

But also, and I speak from personal experience, it could have been some shit lawyering. Those “cold towel” reads bring up some nonsense sentences that you read 8 times and thought were fine.

Yes they will be scrutinising his performance based on the return on investment.

Fuck em both. Fuck Kane for going and fuck Levy for selling him.

I couldn’t care less that Levy is screwing him over again by going back on the deal, I’m just gonna enjoy the chaos now.

Yes I’m petty.

Fabrizio just said Levy in US so different time zone. It's 3:45 am and he's in Miami. Hes hammered prob after going to the strip club and drunk called bayern to tell em to shove it hahahaha. he will still be sold but this whole saga is honestly hilarious at this point

Who is holding Levy to account?

This is the problem. Joe Lewis doesn't seem capable, or his advisors.
Lewis allegedly has relinquished his shares in ENIC last December. It’s a family trust controlled by two Americans appointed by the Lewis family that can buy Levy out. I’m not sure they are willing to pay £800m + to do this.

This is no different from dozens of football transfers that run on and on throughout the transfer windows. They are messy from both clubs viewpoint and the player’s viewpoint. It’s all about getting the best deal you can from all parties involved. These days it’s further muddied by agents and sponsors, and hyped by social media. All the personal attacks and name calling is just low class and not worthy of Spurs fans. I assume everyone that posts here is an adult so have a word with yourselves. Whoever the player is it’s just another transfer, not your favourite toy getting thrown out of a pram.

Onwards. COYS!!

We live in a world now where people expect hourly updates and hang on to every new bit of information, update or tweet like it was gospel. By all accounts, we accepted a bid on Wed night and Kane is flying to Munich to complete the transfer today. Everything else is noise.
