If we don’t get some decent reinforcements in, we’re in with the Villas and Brightons of this world (we probably already are) All the names we’re being linked with are massively underwhelming as well
Brighton are a way, way, better run football club than spurs.

It’s still weird to me that no one but Bayern came in for England’s record goal scorer, World Cup golden boot, three time premier league golden boot, and previous premier league playmaker of the year winner. It must bug the fuck out of him, too.

He’s a good player but we don’t just sign players for the sake of it! It’s what we have been doing and look what happened!

We need to ship out about 10-15 first team players and sign 2 of real quality IMO. A top CB (or a Top Prospect like A Silva) and a top striker like Vlahovic! But we know that won’t be happening don’t we 🤬
Yep Vlahovic and Silva would be a very smart move.

This is all on Levy. He, the board have never shown the ambition needed to keep or buy the best players in the world. We will never reach the heights that we all dream of under Enic. I’m not convinced by any of our signings bar Maddison and let’s be honest, if Leicester were still in the PL we would never have got him. Can you ever see us signing players like Rice, Caicedo etc. I like Ange but fear he will be fed the same shit as the other ‘top’ managers that we have had.
If Kane had been playing for any other club, Levy would never have bought him. Levy got extremely lucky that Kane joined Spurs after leaving school. As long as ENIC are still here, stinking out the whole joint, I don't even bother dreaming of reaching the heights.

Fati and Schuurs is depressing in the lens of selling our world class talisman.

Fati is a massive punt considering his injury record. Another opportunistic deal that will blow up on us. At least Lamela's issues were unknown when we signed him.

And if we can't use this windfall to get a top target like Tapsoba or Silva then seriously what is the point of even trying under these owners?

Just need to pray that like Poch, Ange can succeed despite the limitations put upon him from above. Good news is that he'll be up for the challenge.

To be fair Richarlison, Bissouma, Maddison are those types of players.
Seen as the best players at their clubs. Last season we never got to see the best out of the former two due to injuries, but it did feel like a turning point in the transfers we make. We never really done that before.
