I make it spence, a CB, 2 LBs (do we need 4???) and Ndombele as an minimum plus one out for whoever we bring in (other than CF). That leaves us with at least 2 for every position plus kids which is more than enough when we aren’t even in Europe

Yes but there is always an angle to our purchases, these included. Good players but they are opportune buys that perhaps the manager at the time didn’t actually want. Richarlison….Everton needed to sell for FFP, Levy even tried to fuck them over last minute. Bissouma…contract expiring at Brighton. Maddison….Leicester relegated, forced to sell. We don’t identify a position, scout players, then sign the best player for that position. Whichever way you look at it, Levy and the board have failed this club, Kane included.
I remember when we bought Lineker and we looked really strong. Next moment we sold Waddle, our best player, and the financial shit really hit the fan. Who is worse, Levy or Scholar?
