I’ve seen it said that he’s no longer one of our own. Nonsense. That won’t change. But sometimes you just need to let go. Show Kane some respect, he’s more than earned it over the years.

Cheers H. Honestly, it’s been a pleasure.

If I had a penny for every time I read ‘winning trophies at Bayern is like losing your virginity to a prostitute’, I’d have 17p

There has been mayhem about this statement and the contract angle. But as usual, any excuse to have a go at Levy. Putting Spurs first etc which probably is actually the correct imo. But absolving themselves in any of the actual reasons. We are though bigger than any one player.

Although I probably felt it was better for Spurs that he had to leave if he was not prepared to sign a new contract, I cannot help but feel deflated.

I’m going to Brentford tomorrow and am not looking forward to all the ‘where’s your Harry gone?’ songs tbh. The sooner we get Spurs back on an even keel and competing again the better and get this nonsense behind us.

I hope Harry is now out of sight and out of mind.

I will say I’m privileged to have seen him in a Spurs shirt. Oh well.

Paddy Power trolling us already

To be fair we are an easy target

Loved the Chick King reference at the end

A lad I went to school with ended up being one of the main media producers at Paddy Power. Not sure if he’s still there but he was a Chav so will be loving it if he’s responsible For this.

Sad day. Haven't felt like this since Bale and Keane before that.

It has been a pleasure to watch a player come from the academy and set the records he has done. I will miss him and what he did for us, but we also now have the chance to show under Ange that we're not the Harry Kane team and I feel he is the perfect coach for us in these circumstances. I do hope he achieves what he wants to achieve. I am just glad he has gone abroad to a league I barely watch, so other than the odd clip on social media I won't be paying attention (it made the Bale and Modric moves easier for me to take).

Goodbye H. If you return then I look forward to that day and I hope you can win something with England. Best Spurs player in my lifetime.

Grieve the loss today, but move on tomorrow.

Ps I don't want his mural painted over. He is our all time record goalscorer. Let's remember him for that and all the good moments he gave us.

Up the Spurs.

Awesome, Harry's thread has been moved back out of the transfer section...

Kane gave Levy 9 years to do the right thing, Levy couldn't even give Kane 1 year.
As bad as today feels with the announcements and various videos, imagine he had stayed another year and walked for free and was doing announcement videos for United, City or Chelsea. That would've been ten times worse.

I can’t believe anyone wouldn’t. Don’t get giving him abuse, the annoyance should be directed elsewhere.

It’s obviously painful him going but it would have been a million times worse seeing him turn out for another PL club.

We're not winning the league or CL in the next couple seasons (let's be real). I'd rather him be in Germany then seeing him twice a year against us. Plus we can always hope he knocks out Arsenal in the CL.

Do you not think the fact a generational talent has left was due to Enic and Levy not matching his ambitions? I’m not sure how anyone can not see the mismanagement by Levy and his cronies is not the cause.
It’s not an excuse to beat Levy with, it’s facts.

No one can watch that farewell video and tell me that Harry doesn't love and care for this club. You can just feel it there.

Genuinely think he was happy to play this season under Ange and see how things go too.

There's only one man to blame for it coming to this and we're all stuck with him while 'one of our own' has to go and win trophies abroad.

I hope he smashes it and we finally get rid of this ownership.

It's not a personal dig at anyone who has said this, but have we really got to the point where the 'upside' to Kane going is that hopefully he will help his new club knock our most hated rivals out of the CL, a competition that we are now not in and at the moment seem quite a distance from? We need to pick ourselves up and move on, quickly.
