I think its because his wife just gave birth. Usually you don't travel with a newborn until around 3 months. Let's see where the family will be by then.
Very true, just seems like it must be quite hard for them with the distance. But I suppose he’d be similarly away if he was still here (albeit it’d be a bit closer).

I highly doubt he got to pick the next coach.

I think it was probably more along the lines of Levy realising they needed to win something to keep players like him so hired on the basis of who was most likely to do that.

I doubt very much Kane went to Levy and demanded it or even was asked about who he wanted.
I didn't think or say that he did, I just thought Kane was probably in Levy's mind when he chose them and Kane was certainly vocal about them being winners and top coaches. I can also imagine a scenario in Kane contract negotiations where he could say he didn't want to be part of another project
*Edit, I just read Rob's comment and it seems he had more influence than he should have had.

We relied far too much on him and in a team sport that is never a good thing.

Loving the fresh new chapter and a big cloud has been lifted, it was the best move for both sides.

That being said no bad feelings to Kane and if he wins nothing frankly that’ll be hilarious, but I hope he does win something and I’m sure he will but if nothing else I’d like to see he and Bayern knock Arsenal out the CL 🤞

Fucking hell, Harry, you're not going to explode if you say something nice about Tottenham, rather than this tepid nonsense.

Whatever. We were just a means to an end for him. He doesnt have to be a fan. He isnt like Jan, Bobby, Mousa, Danny Rose, Lucas, Bale, etc. He doesnt feel a connection to the club. He’s gone now & thats that.

I’ve noticed he’s emotionally checked out, ever since he stopped posting #COYS in his tweets 😝 (The season he tried to join City)

Ever since then, he’s felt like a PR machine, rather than pure joy.

Shows how easily some of this aggregator "reporting" can mug people off, to be fair. He's mentioned that we've had a good start to the season out of nowhere, and yet somehow is made out to be the twat. Read beyond what some of the attention seeking grifters post for fucks sake.

A mate of mine (Celtic fan) lives in the Bavarian mountains, eats fruits of the forest floor and bear shit, says his girlfriend combs Kanes pet Iguanas hair. She was round there the other day and the Iguana told her that Kane hates Spurs and especially the fans.

Don’t shoot the messenger, just passing on. 😎

Funny how people jump to assume the worst, his media gigs are always going to be focussed on his new club and trying to get in with the fans.

Picture it this way, do you think Leicester fans are crying over James Maddison saying how much he loves it at Spurs and how great the fans are?

What he does at Bayern will never diminish what he achieved for us (and yes he did very good things for us).

The funniest thing is how so many people here are pining for Kane to say nice stuff about us. It’s like a strange fixation some fans have that there should be a nice comment from him about us whenever he’s asked a question or posts on social media. I find it quite odd to be honest.

Your analogy with James Maddison is a good one. These players will have plenty of time to talk about all the clubs they have played for once their playing careers are over. But whilst they’re playing who cares what they have to say about their previous clubs?

He’s our record ever goal scorer and supposedly he and his family all spurs fans so given he’s in an entirely different league no harm in him saying something nice about us.

Yeah no harm but it’s the nitpicking about whether he has or hasn’t said something about us that I was referring to. Fine if he says something, as you say no harm. But no big deal if he doesn’t either.

Normally I'd agree but he's a club legend (although that's conditional on behaviour after you've left imo) and the vibe he's giving off is that he's embarrassed to have ever played for us. Yes he's dull, yes he's got the charisma of a stuffed animal but it's like he's actively trying not to maintain any connection with the fans.

If he'd gone to another Premier League team I could understand it but what's the harm in having whoever does his social media for him chuck a couple of likes around at Spurs posts? Lamela left over 2 years ago and he still does.

I'm not going to cry myself to sleep over it but it's disappointing that's he tarnishing his legacy like this for nothing.

If we can get back into the CL this year then really the only club in the PL that would look like a much better prospect for him than us is City. I think he’ll be in Germany for at least two years first though.
I think he might end up doing a reverse Greaves personally, if he doesn’t settle in Bavaria.
