I was just coming on here to say he obviously isn’t all that and quite clearly we all over rated him, not even the highest rated Englishman…..
He’ll probably win it next season now he’s left.

I personally dont think Haaland should have been winner. He is a pure goalscorer and lacks a lot to his game beyond scoring. Yes thats a great attribute to have, but compared to Kane who Scores, and plays a #10 game, they are miles apart. Perhaps if Kane stopped laying FreeKick man he'd have a lot more support

We’d not be the team we are now if we still had Kane, the flow of our play would be completely different and players would shrink, i said it at the time when he was linked to Bayern that we could be better overall without him.

Football teams are complex puzzles of talent and emotions, I think Kane would score a lot under Ange but I actually don’t think we’d be better overall, I think he’d effect the balance of what we have right now.

I think it is a lesson for football fans and owners not to be too attached or worried about 1 player leaving.

There can still be an outcome where everyone benefits.

As long as there is a plan in place.

I think had we lost Kane the summer we brought in Nuno it would have been a disaster.

Even more so if we had sold him under Conte as he would have kicked right off.

But if the coach is happy enough for a player to leave, cause he doesn't want players who are not all in, then it is better to just accept and let them leave.

We will have to get used to this happening more often too.

Sarr, Udogie, Romero, VdV are probably all going to be targetted by Madrid, City, Barca etc at some point. If they show any interest in leaving we should all be accepting of them going as our strength now is the team and coach, not one player.

Don't know about "best" goal ever scored. He simply lobbed the keeper who was too far out.

Its not even Kane's best long-range goal - the one against Juve in pre-season when he beat Szczesny

He's attempted it more times than I remembered. It's more difficult to get it right in a live game than many people realize aswell
