Bring him home in january and have Bayern mail him his winner's medal next summer.

That way he'll get the "no trophies" monkey of his back while cementing his legend status here.

Get it done, Daniel.

I think I'm coming to terms that if he stayed he would have left and joined another PL side which would have been tough

I'm utterly sickened by the pundits' sudden declaration of Harry Kane as a Ballon d'Or contender, now that he's at Bayern Munich. It's a frustrating and unjust turn of events that leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of those who've been following his incredible career. The hypocrisy in their analysis is hard to stomach.
It's as if they have collective amnesia about his incredible body of work at Spurs. Their opportunistic flip-flopping when he changes clubs exposes their lack of genuine insight and objectivity. It's high time we question the credibility of these pundits and demand a more balanced evaluation of players' achievements, regardless of their club.

The Ballon d’Or blatantly ignore players in the Premier League which is bizarre as it recognized as the best and toughest League in the world. The voters are from other leagues who are jealous of the success of the PL. I rarely pay any attention to who the the winners of this competition are.

Is he really worthy of the Ballon d'Or? I don't know I think it's really still too early to say. Bellingham is lighting up the La Liga which I ranked as a much harder league. Unless Kane really wins the CL with Bayern, if not winning the Bundesliga and another German cup is just not cutting it for me.
You really believe La Liga is a much harder league than the PL??

You should probably reflect on your own biases as well. The Spurs lense is not a major consideration and there's always a 'winners bias' to these awards.

Firstly, nobody really cares about the ballon d'or - it's a nice trinket to have that in most cases just confirms what we already know about who is the best player in the world on a given year. It's not the ballon d'or itself that determines that, but the body of work in a season that marked a player out. Messi and Ronaldo traded it for several years based on their contributions to team success. Then Modric or Benzema get in there too for winning something big and going far with their national team. Kane has been phenomenal since his breakthrough at Spurs and could have been in the reckoning to an extent, but not at the level of others because he wasn't getting to the biggest matches. And when he did occasionally, he didn't convert it to trophies. That's with Spurs and England.

He's in the reckoning now because he's kept his phenomenal record going while helping his team compete at the very top end. 30 goals for Spurs and finishg 8th isn't it. If he and Bayern fall well short, he wont be getting that prize. But if they win the league, go far in the Champions League, and he's the top scorer in both, he'll surely be in the reckoning. Michael Owen won it in 2001 after finishing with a treble of cups, 3rd in the league, and lots of goals. Kane's never gotten near that at Spurs.

The Ballon D'or is a popularity contest nothing more nothing less.

The Sausage League with Bayern is like shooting fish in a barrel for Harry Kane. Nothing remotely like the challenges in the EPL.

It's hard to believe how ungrateful Harry Kane has become since his move to Bayern. He used to be the heart and soul of Tottenham, and we supported him through thick and thin. But now, he acts like he doesn't care about us anymore.

All he does is gush about Bayern and his new teammates, as if he never played a single game for Spurs. There's no mention of missing Sonny, the fans, or the iconic White Hart Lane. It's like he's erased all the history and loyalty he had with our club.

It's not just disappointing; it's downright disrespectful. We invested so much love and support in him, and now it's as if he's turned his back on us. It's a shame to see a player who once meant so much to us act this way after leaving the club that made him a star.

It's part of the game, I guess. Players move on, clubs change, but it doesn't make it any less disappointing for us Spurs fans. We'll always have the memories, though, even if Harry seems to have moved on completely.

I don't know what to tell my son anymore. He idolized Harry Kane, and now, seeing his hero at Bayern without any mention of Tottenham, it's tough to explain to him why things have changed so dramatically. The fact that he never mentions Tottenham games or shows support for our club in his posts is a real slap in the face for fans like me.

And what makes it even more infuriating is how Harry heaps praise on players like Sane and Musiala at Bayern. While they're good Bundesliga players, Harry seems to have forgotten the remarkable chemistry he shared with Sonny and other Spurs players. It's as if he's trying to erase the history and the wonderful moments he had with his former teammates at Tottenham, which is incredibly disappointing to the club and its supporters.

The idolization is the issue. Once you accept he’s just a man playing football, things become easier to accept.

And how would your son feel if Maddison kept talking about how much he loves Leicester and the fans there?

He's just a professional. It would be a bit weird and disrespectful to Bayern if he talked about Spurs now.

I don't particularly care he doesn't talk about us. He's moved on and so have we.

To be fair Maddison posted the Leicester game on his instagram story with a “come on LCFC” last weekend.
