The problem with him for me is he seems to think he's very good, deserving of starting/playing every single match. But he hardly pulled any trees. Mediocre/ok at best, poor/invisible at worse.

In 5 season Harry Winks has 2 assists and 2 goals to his name in the PL from central midfield! That’s what anchors our midfield more often than not. Offers absolutely nothing defensively as he is weak. Doesn’t bring the ball forward. Just a sideway passer.

Every single game passes him by. He is one of the most limited players we’ve had for some time making the starting 11. Dean Marney had more about him. There isn’t another top 6 side where he’d get a game for their reserves. Embarrasing that he started yesterday, in fact it was a farce. Imagine when the city midfield saw that he was playing! Game over.

I was just thinking about how he used to play when he got his break through; brave, silky passes, wanted the ball all the time and really forced him self to be a part of the first team. Scrolling back to the first 10 pages of this thread backs up my memory, however it’s a damn shame how he turned out now 25 years old with a piss poor attitude and a shadow of himself in terms of footballing abilities.

Get rid of him ASAP.

We’re very poor at producing youth. Kane has made up for most of our youth since Ledders and he pays for the academy alone. But look at players in other teams even the rich oil money ones coming through.
