As far as I'm aware I don't think a spurs player has scored one hat trick all season in any competition.

Is that not quite a bad thing? I think some of our players (adebayor, bale, vdv and Defoe) should be clocking off this season with at least one.

Probably similar reason to why we never win games by 3 or more goals (I posted a thread about it). Our players just get a goal or two and then stop playing.

Defoe scored 5 in a game , and Keane 4 in a game in recent seasons

3MP got a hat-trick in the CL too last season. And in the CC the season before.
