Yup. l'Equipe has just put it up.

A great club that plays good football? Has he watched them lately?

I can't say that I necessarily know if he would be a good signing for us, but the fact that people are still beating down the door (VDV still wants to go) to go to that joke of a club who have no chance of CL football worries me a little.

We get more rejection notices than my last movie script and yet Valencia is beating them off with a stick. That does worry me a little.

To be fair they are still in 7th, they have a great record away from home (2nd best in the entire league) but have been poor by their own standards at home. I wouldn't go anywhere near as far as stating that they are a joke of a club. Their situation off the field in the last few months has been no worse than our own just it has been blown out of proportion because they are higher profile in the current Champions League obsessed european football community.

it's not 2 m. euros, it's 3,5 m. but still fairly cheap for someone like maduro. ajax have turned down bids of 10 m. euros in the past from juventus.

I guess the fact he had only 6 months left on his contract was the reason for the low price. Whether it is 2 or 3.5 i don't know. Different stories have different prices and it isn't easy to know who to believe. However even at 3.5m euros it seems a very good deal for Valencia.
