Personally I think it's a good move for them. Given that they have two forwards off to the ACN, I don't see what they have to lose. Hopefully for us it works out no better than when Jurgen rejoined us at at the age of 33.... he can bag four goals in an fa cup match against Wimbledon or similar but that's it.

I don't see how anything good can possibly come from this deal, from Arsenal's point of view.

Will he play against us? He'll probably net a hat trick, the ****.

Henry isn't completely finished and they could use another outlet for goals.

with giggs still playing well at 38 i'd wait to judge him on his performances if they do re-sign him, wouldn't write him off.

Master stroke for Wenger - the fans have finally started to grumble about the lack of ambition in the squad, the fact that there's no talisman now Fibreglass has buggered off, and some have turned their gaze on the red nosed pervert himself for the first time, and he's pulled an ace out of his sleeve.

He's bought in their god, basically. The man they worshipped has returned and i imagine they picture him strolling into the dressing room, "EH! What ze furk is goin' on 'eere? hawhehawhehaw", as we all know he does, and the team expected to already know how high when he wants them to jump.

And i can believe that might be the case. He's a wise man, that Wenger.

I honestly think spurs are better than arse, but it is a good move by them to bring him back.I think they will challenge Chelsea for fourth.

Not a bad signing for them to be honest. I'm sure gooner fans would rather him come off the bench than the likes of chamakh.

Don't think I could take another Henry goal celebration after scoring against us without smashing something valuable. For the possibility that this could happen I pray it doesn't happen.

Hmm, not too sure whether he'll be any good

If you look at this compilation of goals (March to August) there's some pretty woeful defending in it:

Perhaps he could step it up against decent opposition but I would expect he'd be well off the pace in an EPL that would be halfway through it's season

BURN HIM!

Seems like Henry is indeed going back for a couple of months, not bothered personally he is not the player he was and cant see him having much effect.

I'm not over the moon about it. It's been a while since I've seen him in action but he always boiled my blood.

If it was 98 I'd be scared, are Petit, Overmars, Bergkamp and Viera coming back? No they are not, desparate measures for a desparate team.

We are better then them, just fucking believe, now!!

Its cover for the 2 that are away to the african nations cup thing.

It could do one of 2 things, it could boost them just from him coming back, or if he struggles for the first few games playing, it may put more preasure on the team! Not happy with him going back, still a good player just not the great player he was

It'd be for January and February, right? Arse's last game in February is us at home...
