I have had some contact with a guy who works in the soccer media here (for one of Brazil's biggest tv networks) and he has confirmed that Sao Paulo are ready to listen to offers for Hernanes.

He told me that he knows West Ham and one or two other European clubs have had scouts watching him so there could be some real interest in the player in the coming weeks.

I would love this guy to come to Spurs as he would be a huge upgrade to our midfield. A naturally two footed player who can play anywhere across the middle including DM. He is 24 this year, an established international, a great set piece taker, not afraid to put his foot in, huge engine and scores a few goals too. In Brazil people talk about him as being the natural successor to Kaka.

Do you think Harry will be interested - unfortunately I don't.

Alot of big clubs looking at him I'm afraid. Also wouldn't automatically qualify for UK work permit, as only has 1 cap for Brazil, although he would probably get in on appeal.

He is an amazing player. One of the best around and would love him, but there is no way he would be granted a visa so he's destined for Italy or Spain.

Then again, Fabio and Rafael (the Manure twins) got their Work Permits without any fuss at the age of 18!

General Football, surely? There hasn't even been a Tribal Football mention of Hernanes being linked with Spurs as far as I know, let alone any link with an actual shred of credibility suggesting we're interested in him.

You know why this might not be General football.....because one of his biggest fans is Tim Vickery. I'm going to give him a call and see if he will push him towards us

But I get complete wood thinking of a three man midfield of Hernanez, Muntari and Wilson

Funny, I've been looking at this guy on the footie manager for a while but can never get him due to work permit issues.

He would be an amazing signing, but wouldn't be granted a permit. It's a sad situation.

Hernanez is getting games now for Brazil, and you can usually get away with a lot more when it comes to Brazilians. Realize that under the rules, Diego would have a hard time getting a permit for England. In fact the only Brazilian that should actually have a work permit at the time is Robinho and Elano. Although Gilberto might be the third. Jo, Alex, A. Alvez, Anderson, the da Silva twins and Lucas should not have permits.

He'd stand a decent chance of getting a permit, just use the same reasoning the goons did with Denilsen.

Barca was looking at him last summer....so this summer I expect clubs like Real M, Milan, Inter to have a look.
If he came to the EPL it would be either Chelski (CL footy) or Citeh (mega salary).
