Who cares what his release fee is?
In La Liga they have to have a release fee in their contracts, so they set the fee to an insane amount, so they wont have to sell him on the cheap.

If we were forced to include a release fee in Berbatov's contract, it would be more likely that we sat it to 300m than 15m, right?

Be that as it may, it's going to prove extremely expensive to prise him away, especially as Villareal look set for CL next season and, improbable as it may seem, have a fair chance of being champions.

That may well be true, but I feel confident we'd get quite a lot of pennies back as change for our twenty-seven million bill.
