I'd like to see Holtby back at Spurs and given a chance to prove he's up to it. We need quality players with a bit of heart and fighting spirit.

Fucking hell. Seeing a normally fun and jovial person go nuts is always a bit unsettling.

His going nuts is just what we need. Bring him back.

I think this outburst is just another symptom of the lack of self-control that he shows as he goes charging round the pitch chasing shadows.

I personally think we would have gotten more out of Holtby this season than any of the following players Lamela,Townsend,Paulinho,Soldado,Ade shame he was packed off without given a real chance, even Siggy would have given more to us than that bunch.

There's more than one man in a team. He's also been out with a broken collarbone.

He has played 18 games and contributed little according to stats, AVB didn't rate him, neither did Sherwood, 2 managers at Fulham dropped him and Poch didn't rate him.....but hey you're the expert

AVB played him a lot, and signed him. Strange considering he didn't rate him, huh?

Bit hypocritical when you have such great time for Tim Sherwood because he wears his heart on his sleeve and says it how it is.
Btw, we need this type of passion, albeit an average player, not enough of it in our squad

Don't remember Tim running around like a headless chicken as a player. And to be honest I find it embarrassing when he loses it as a manager (not that I remember him ever having a pop at a fan).

You are so right...2013-14 season under AVB Holtby started 2 league games before AVB left in December. Ah but he did play in most EL games so he must of rated him?

No, he started 5 of his league games.

Aston Villa 20/10/13
Hull 27/10/13
Everton 3/11/13
Man City 24/11/13
Sunderland 7/12/13

AVB never had anything but compliments for Holtby, you can easy see that if you google it.

What's your problem with him anyway? You sound like Felix Magath.

Ermmm...I'll add a little bit of skill and brains to that too mate ;-)
Heart and fighting spirit is good but add to that skills, and brains and we've got quality! (ps: I'm not only referring to Holtby)
