This is clearly the most crucial part of the season now that we are close to the top and close to the end of the season, so how do you keep the players feeling rested, fresh and energetic for these last 8 games?
I would personally not bother with the Europa game against Dortmund on Thursday and play a full 2nd string team right down to Vorm.I wouldnt even play Toby and Wimmer if possible and just put some extra Academy players in there. I would keep the 1st team as fresh and rested as possible for the Bournemouth game and also maybe cut back any extra training we have been doing if its training that's been done since the beginning of the season, just to give them a bit of extra energy in the tank for these last 8 games.
Not sure how else we can get players that look knackered that much needed rest between games but maybe do more Rondos than running to get their brains working harder and give their bodies a bit more of a rest, that way we can maneuver and pass our way around the pitch rather than running ourselves to death.
