I think that Rose injury (or BAE loan) was crucial for us. 4-2-3-1 is great but you need proper fullbacks. Everything went bad without Rose in that system and AVB got sacked.

We're playing open 4-4-2 now and we are vulnerable as *$"#$. I think that we need to go back to 4-2-3-1 becouse:
1) what is our biggest strenght? midfield power
2) what don't we have? natural wingers (appart from Lennon)
3) who is back? Rose
4) our centrebacks weren't so vulnerable in previous system

I think that 4-2-3-1 with fit fullbacks and a bit more understanding in front would be good.
