I don't know but Davies is playing at a level above Rose last season. I don't think Rose is capable of playing better than the start of last season either
I agree with the caveat that Rose only played a handful of games in the 3-4-3 system before the injury. Davies has had a lot more game time in that system.

Again, he hasn't been perfect, but I'm still in awe of Sanchez. It's like he's been playing there for 10 years. His presence is opening up new opportunities for Jan and Toby to move forward. The guy is 21. We hear all the time that it can take a year to get used to the PL, but he's hit the ground running in spectacular fashion.

He'll be so good when he's fully settled in. Great to have a player in there who just loves defending. He'll get a lot better I'm sure but at his age he has huge potential.

Rose isn't playing;).
Davies is calm-ish has been shown up a few times this season in that the other day he got put almost clean through and got caught up and also he struggles to recover on his side when beaten or out of position. I'm also hoping he works on his crossing a bit more in training as well as hiring a sprint trainer like Harry .

To be honest I've been surprised how Huddersfield have set up. Did they think our last two seasons were a fluke?

i actually thought Dele had his best half in a while. He had some sublime touches - I don't think anyone else on the pitch could've pulled off that half volley over to the top to Eriksen - and almost scored a great goal. A couple of frustrating moments aside I thought he was very good.

I feel much more at ease with him at the back and I bet the players do because he eats up so much ground when he runs.
