Anyone know why they didnt feature last night? Were any of them injured or can we assume they could be on their way out of WHL?

our 3 slowest less agile players, suppose it's possible they could be out of the frame. But I doubt it, especially in Dawson's case

Worry for Dawson as thats now 2 games in a row he hasnt featured, If he was in AVBs plans he would have got some minutes

Must admit it looks bad for all three of them, but then again he has played Jenas in all three games so all cannot be counted as lost for them.

careful not to make 2+2=5! stilll early days in AVB working with the squad, seeing how they work in the system he wants and with each other. I'm sure a couple of them will be on their way but wouldnt draw too many conclusions from the side that played last night.

Dawson was on the bench listening attentively( with that glazed eys look that players have when receiving instructions)
To AVB as he explained that at half time the teams change ends and that it is crucial to remember this.
I was surprised that he didn't get on as I mentioned in the match thread.

I thought that Jenas would have been replaced earlier too.
But the Portugeuse have an expression about giving a man enough rope.
'Dar bastante corda para pendurar-se com o de um homem.'
and AVB is clearly applying this to JJ.

Both Daws and Hudd have only just returned from long term injuries, so probably nothing to worry about with them

Do you think Bentley could have a label stitched into his collar telling him to concentrate on the goals and not on the camera?

I honestly think Huddlestone, Dawson and Bentley will stay as they haven't featured with the team beyond preseason. Bentley will have to convert himself into a a central midfielder to play behind the striker if he is to stay as the wingers we have atm have incredible pace. Dawson and Huddlestone are being eased back into the team after long term injury so I'm not worried with them leaving.

I think Bentley will be leaving, as for Dawson he will be kept around as one of the four CB's and as i have said before i doubt that Hud will be here at the end of the season.

You could also look at it that Daws & Hudd are nailed on, whereas Jenas & Gallas were getting a last chance to prove they've still got enough to play for us.
And Bentley, well he could be on his way out. Or am I being just a little too optimistic?

It sounds as if it would be difficult to read in that position.
Better on the mirror in the dressing room.
Should be gone unless DL sticks out for £40 million.

I highly doubt that Mr Bentley has the capabilities to figure out that it would be back-to-front in the mirror, let alone decipher it
