Frankly because who else would take them. Seriously I do not believe Milner or Hart would be able to be anything more than rotation in other teams in and around that level. Maybe Arsenal would take Hart, but they don't exactly look in good health either.
They could just stay at City.

Milner is a really good player, just a lot fans who think one trick pace ponies like Lennon, Townsend, Johnson, are better.

Well I assume that Hart may be replaced. I mean Pellegrini doesn't seem keen on him. While Milner will increasingly become a bigger and bigger bit part. I mean they might actually want to, you know, play games.

They will at City maybe just fringe games but they have a chance of winning things there.

Hugo's not going oop North. His family is settled. London has the 6th largest French population for a city. Another London club maybe, but not Manchester.

I don't really understand the obsession in here with discussing blatantly made up bullshit transfer stories.

Much as I love Hugo, losing him wouldn't be nearly as cataclysmic as losing Bale was. He's probably easier to replace - Begovic, Forster & Krul are all close to his ability.

Yes, it'd be sad when he goes, but frankly he's better than us and if we get a fair fee it's not the end of the world.

Not gonna happen but it wouldn't be bad business.

Richards is an upgrade on Dawson, probably more consistent than Kaboul, and according to Bale, his toughest ever opponent. Milner, though less flashly, is a better winger than any of ours (excluding Lamela who can't be judged yet), and Hart although not as good off his line as Lloris, is as good a shot stopper. Plus they're all English.

Would be pretty dam good business if we're resigned to losing Hugo. Of course if he wants to stay then it's a different matter.
How is Richards an upgrade on Dawson and Kaboul?
He hasn't played regularly for 3-4 years, probably when Mark Hughes was last in charge of City.

If we are going to consider any swap deal, we absolutely must insist on getting Dzeko as well as Joe Hart.

It is bollocks and will never happen but i would drive Lloris up there myself for that deal

Milner is one of the most underated players in the premiership and Hart despite his bump in the road season is imho the best keeper in the world

Sorry but Hart best keeper in the world is even more insane than you using your predilection for managing sh@t clubs in Football Manager to compare yourself to the mindset of an elite pro football coach...

However this sort of deal has Tim Sherwood's grubby fingerprints all over it. Best players homegrown, cheese eating surrender monkeys out, me and Jamie and a van full of stubbies on the ferry to Dover etc.

If Lloris goes I happily take either of the Madrid keepers. They have one too many keepers and there isn't no other big team in the market for a keeper

How isn't he an upgrade on those two? Most the other centre backs in the league are I'm afraid
