He'll probably be told LVG is coming as well as being offered lots of dosh.

Might just save the day.

Ben Foster. Then again I like a goalkeeper who can do the simple things right (catch crosses, claim corners etc) and he's always been rock-solid in terms of handling.

Fuck me some of the replacements mooted in here are depressing. If we replace Hugo fucking Lloris with Tim Krul i'll lose my shit.

I love Hugo but to a certain degree, we can go out and replace him fairly easily I would think and still end up with a quality keeper.

Hugo has been awesome but he's also dropped some clangers.

Off the top of my head we could go after any of Krul, Begovic, Vorm, Foster, Butland.....just to name a few in the prem, let alone who might be out there in Europe.

Despite his frankly poor attitude of late, I'd be more bothered about losing/replacing Jan Vertonghen than Hugo.

None of which would be a patch on Hugo and would all cost £10m+ :banghead:

Hope he stays. But if he goes

1. Krul
2. Begovic
3. Forster
More than able replacements

Fraser Forester, Karl Darlow or Kasper Schmeichel would be adequate if not stellar replacements

Kasper Schmeichel??? Seriously??

Fraser Forster isn't actually too bad, not heard or Karl Darlow, but Schmeichel jnr, fuck me lol...

I've watched plenty of WBA this season, definitely do not want Foster. Been costing them plenty of points with his poor decision-making in regards to leaving his line.

Keepers as talented as Lloris are very rare. It would be a massive blow to lose him.

He does seem like an honourable kind of guy so I would expect him to give us at least another season before he pushes for a move.

Thankfully for us he is relatively young for a keeper so that also gives me faith he will stick about for a while.

Hugo is pretty much the main reason we haven't been spanked even more so this season... and the only player keeping us in the top 6 imo. Great goalkeepers like him are the foundations on which title winning sides are built. If PSG come in with a big offer then expect Levy to be rubbing his hands with glee at the prospect of another bumper profit. Plus Hugo himself will want out of this shit, LVG or no.
