Isn't that kind of why people do warm to him though, because that's pretty much what he does do, wear his wankerness on his sleeve?

Maybe!

It's the I'm a nice, funny guy routine...as long as everything is going my way. He's a diva and there's a huge meltdown there just waiting to come out, and it will do. The premier league is too competitive for him. Dortmund in Germany is a walk in the park in comparison.

Can't see why anyone would rather Arsenal finish fourth than Liverpool.

Coutinho will still be target for Barcelona and if they firm it up, he'll go regardless of CL football or not and conversely Arsenal will find it a tougher sell to Sanchez to stay.

Any case, how we playing? Just come in and seen the score - would love Harry to get another two and make it to 30

By the same thought process, surely Arsenal won't be able to replace them with high quality players without CL football? The same Arsenal who nearly always finished above Liverpool, by a distance too.

Both clubs boards are as equally unambitious as the other if you look closely enough. Liverpools owners want regular CL football. Not much else. Our biggest worry below us is from Manchester. CL football matters little to both manchester clubs futures. They will spend huge and want to win every trophy going.
I don't think Arsenal will be able to replace Sanchez with a player of the same quality no matter what. What top player would want to join the current Arsenal "project"? Any that they would target would likely have other lucrative offers elsewhere, so I don't think money alone would be sufficient. The club is a mess.

Liverpool on the other hand I think could be a real thorn in our side in the transfer market if they qualify for the CL. They want to bring in a Mane replacement/rotation option and a central midfielder, I could see us being after some of the same players, but with their dramatically higher wage budget I could see us losing out.

Ultimately we just have to focus on ourselves and not worry too much about what the clubs around us are doing, but if I had a choice I'd rather have Pool miss out.

Very professional performance so far. 3-0 up and nothing on the line per se but the effort level hasn't dropped at all
