I haven't felt this good about the team in 30 years - since winning the Cup Final replay against Citeh, and being in the end that Ricky Villa scored!

I'm scared. I don't know how to act. This is all new to me. I'm used to being the butt of people's jokes! It's weird!

A good night to be a Spurs fan. To sit 8 points clear of Chelsea, 9 points clear of Arsenal and 11 points clear of Liverpool at this stage of the season is a great achievement. Also level on points with United and 3 points behind City, both teams which dominated us at the start of the season.

We're only half way though, going to be an extremely tough 2nd half to the season and let's hope we all are still smiling come May:grin:

Mazz, I am the same. It is truly an amazing feeling at the moment and one which I do not want to end. Hopefully the players feel like we do as well, which will be a huge incentive to keep this going.

I'm just so envious of all of you who can get to the Lane reguarly, I really want to be able to soak up the atmosphere with you all, and this is the only place that I can do it.

And this is the bit that just tops it off for me. I might even venture over to Arsemania to see what the twats are saying about us at the moment

You're under 30 right? Ive been suporting Spurs too long to smile, in fact the better we do the more worried i get. It could always be genetic thought i guess (the Jew in me).

You've just made a lady very happy with that comment i'm sure

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like this - and I'm not Jewish.( But maybe some of it rubbed off as I was brought up in Stamford Hill ).

I'm at the stage where I want to hide behind the sofa and watch. Eek

It's really weird. Like a few people have said, I don't know how to react or respond to being where we are!

I kinda got comfortable with being a fan of also rans. I was fine with it to be honest! I didn't mind. They were still my Spurs. I'd support them through thin and thinner, regardless of anything!

So to be sitting in a potential title challenging season is weird. Obviously there's a long way to go yet, and we could go all Spurs on it, but this year is different. This is a different breed of Spurs all together. We've got the sexy football on the pitch, but we've also got a bit of steel and determination. We win games we would have folded and lost in previous years. We nick a goal and get wins which would have been draws in past seasons.

We better start believing. We're in the mix! That's all you can ask for really!

at one stage last night the commentator on FOX brought up the FA Cup defeat to City (the 4-3 one at the Lane) and i nearly choked!

I'm not sure that I'm going to be able to cope with this for much longer!
Am I going to be shitting bricks before every bloody game, 'til the end of the season?
Not sure that my heart can take it - looks like I picked the wrong time to give up sniffing glue!
