It would be great to have a manager at Spurs for 10+ yrs. That would imply he is successful, and we are winning trophies/CL qualification.

Meanwhile MP has a very big challenge, NLD, let's hope the team play like the last 15 mins vs Forest, not the first 60-70.

Let's hope Arsenal play like we did for the 90 mins against WBA

I hope this is the case but everyone needs to realise that it will take time to change the lazy culture that seems to run throughout the squad.

I want a manager for the long term and hopefully Poch will be that guy, we just need to be patient.

If he was to do what Mr Wenger has done for Arsenal in his first nine years of his tenure I would be a very happy bunny indeed the following nine I wouldn't be so impressed but understand in the circumstances that he was managing in ie paying for the Stadium.

The only thing is at Arsenal, Wenger is THE man, there is no DOF, he controls footballing matters totally. That will never be the case with Poch.

That wasn't the case in his formative years though as David Dein played a hugely important comtade type role in Wenger's foothold in to longevity.

If our man gets the same support for the first few seasons, rather than the usual 15 months or so, it's viable, and who's to say he doesn't outlast the DOF model, particularly if there is a change of chairman or even owner?

I'll give him time if he proves he can do the job.

Do you think Wenger would still be at arsenal if they finished 16th for his first 2 or 3 seasons?

just imagine all the 4th place trophys he can win!
We all laugh at arsenal "winning 4th place" but they've raked in massive income from it, paid for their stadium and can now spend large sums of money without selling their top players.
You'd be foolish to think they won't press on now.

Thankfully he is still in charge. Buying attacking midfielder after attacking midfielder. And keeps ignoring the areas where he needs to strengthen. Long may he continue.

And he is still qualifying for the CL and finishing above us. Long may that NOT continue.

With a wage bill bigger than Chelsea's and 40% higher than ours that's the minimum they should expect. One trophy in 10 years is a dreadful return. Thank God they don't have Mourinho there spending that money.
