Couldn't make it past 10 matches last year in the Bundesliga for Schalke. 4 matches the season before in La Liga. He's just far too injury prone.

I feel sorry for the lad, he looked a good player in the Eredivisie, but even there he had injury issues, struggled to impress at Barca and just at the time he started to show he had something to offer he got injured and them seems to have limped from injury to injury. I can't see any reason why we would have any interest as it's just too much of a gamble at a time we don't really need big gambles

Shame really. He could have been a devastating inside forward had these last few yrs not been spent in the ICU. Still, he'll land somewhere else and unless he's been a complete bellend financially is already set for life. Always a little sad to unfulfilled potential though.
