From wiki

Near the end of the season, Juventus reportedly rejected a €70 million bid for him from Real Madrid, which was later revealed to be a publicity stunt initiated by Ibrahimović's agent, Mino Raiola, in order to increase his market value

Backs up Kendall's point nicely.

From sportinglife's transfer centre

1310: This could be a story to keep an eye on as Mundodeportivo.es are reporting that Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a transfer target for Manchester City. The Sweden international has hinted he may be open to offers this summer so we should expect to read more about him in the TC over the next few months.

Deselina's been starting rumours by the looks of it

First of all, as a Swede i'm not crazy about him as a person but you can't question his qualities as a player. Most on here just listens to ignorant british journalists that doesn't really have a clue on what happens outside the island called Great Britain. They're stuck in some beliefs that if you haven't done it in England then it doesn't count. We're talking about a league that was played on fields (yes, i liked it back then too) before it became the Premiership.
I'm an inter fan(I'm also a spurs fan) and I'm a season ticket holder so I see him play every sunday and I can tell you that he is the best player after cristiano ronaldo, he is better either of messi, he has more skills. Till last year he diden't scored much but now he had an improvment, the only problem he has is that he don't score in cl, but this will change because inter is buying a lot of good players to help him. At Inter we think that he good go away just with an 80 millions bid, that is not so simple.

Unfortunately, there's been no Serie A coverage in the UK this season, and the last time I really watched a good deal was when he had that pretty woeful second season at Juve. I also used to frequent an Italian cafe where the owners were mad keen Juve fans who were totally pissed off with him. He really did seem to be wildly overrated then, but he seems to have come on in leaps and bounds since joining Inter.

Strangely, when he and Mido were together at Ajax, some Ajax fans rated Mido as the better prospect.

Maybe you should actually watch him more regularly then rather than basing your opinions on a handful of games and calling him 'crap'.

Why? I've never seen him play well, so I really wouldn't be bothered with the effort of finding a channel that shows the Italian League just to watch him. I'd rather watch Kaka tbh.

because if u did actually watch him this season you would have seen him score 25 goals in serie A and be the leagues top scorer. But if you have seen him in a couple of games for sweden and in the CL and he hasn't performed he must be crap

Eto is a good goal scorer but he lacks some qualities like control of the ball. His touch can be too heavy sometimes and i just get the feeling that guardiola would much prefer players who are experts in ball control and precision like iniesta and xavi. I think ibra will be an improvement but barca will have to spend big to get him

eto'o has pace. ibra is slow.

give eto'o a 2 year deal and buy a different type of cf (forlan, villa)

Ibra isn't slow. I'm not saying Barca should get him to replace Eto'o, for sure they should keep Eto'o (if it ain't broke don't fix it). But Ibra is a quality player and would be excellent anywhere he goes I would imagine. He dives a lot and gets paid far too much, but purely for talent he is right up there.

If you would have bothered to read my stats about him it would keep you quiet......but since it doesn't serve your purposes i guess you skipped that part.

It's quite amusing to see people that choose to live in ignorance beacuse it's easier and their own little comfort zone. Amusing...but at the same time a little sad.
