he was a good string puller, but I guess legends are those that do flash things that catch the eye consistently or are total goal machines, Carrick is one of them that almost quietly goes about his business, like Barry.

The likes of Hoddle, Klinsmann, Gascoigne, Lineker etc.. were players that used to give you a raging hard on when you saw them in a spurs shirt.
