http://worldfootballacademy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/WFA_Study-on-recovery-days.pdfwhat part or effect of playing European football is costing us?
Ok, the first loss was Arsenal, and the game against Dinamo Tbilisi played no role because we were home and already massively ahead on the aggregate and heavily rotated the squad. Arsenal didn't walk all over us either.
Second loss was West Ham, I guess you could blame it on the trip to Anzhi but once again we had heavy squad rotation.
Third was Newcastle, where we created the better chances, Krul played a blinder, and we couldn't finish. It was played after a home game to Sheriff Tiraspol so once again, shouldn't have affected us.
Fourth was Liverpool and that was after our last Europa league game in the group where we were once again at home, played a heavily rotated squad, and didn't overstress ourselves.
I don't think it affected us at all.
