I cant pretend i've watched much of Cardiff this season and im not suggesting they are where they are purely because of Caulker, but what exactly has Caulker done for so many people to want him back? other than being here previously? a genuine question
i think we will be stepping down whatever if we lose HugoKeepers for relegation candidates often look better than they are due to the volume of saves. Not that he's not good, but I'd be wary of thinking he's good enough. Massive step down from Lloris.
Krul is far from average. It astounds me how many people would replace Hugo with bang average keepers. Krul and Marshall? FFS. This is Hugo Lloris. Aim higher.
Krul is far from average.
Besides "Aim higher"? We can only aim as high as the players that want to come. There are only so many players tyhat want to come to a team with no CL and tiny wages. The fact Levy managed tp sign the likes of VdV, Lloris, Vertonghen, Modric and Berbatov in the first place is nothing short of remarkable.
I would not be able to handle Hugo Lloris leaving Spurs
He had a good season when he first came in to the Newcastle side, he's never got close to that form since. Probably just because he had a good game against us that a lot of people want him.
Begovic would be the only keeper in the prem worth looking at. I'd look abroad though for someone like Perin.
Krul has has consistenly been one of the league's best keepers. Always pulling off excellent saves.
As for Begovic... aside from the fact he is nowhere near Krul's class, I think we can forget out him after the debarcle with his medical last time.
