Surely Dan could just say in his defence re Ramos/Poyet/Berba etc that it was Comolli in charge of finding the replacements for the players sold?

I've not read through all the comments so may be missing the point that Bomber is making.

He was probably waiting for someone like you to give him ideas on an answer. I don't want to turn this into an attack on Dan because I know some posters think anything anti Dan is seen as such, but he really should reply to the post because until he does, it sort of makes him look wrong. Which is fine, but still...

In response to your point mike, Dan is very much in favour of the DOF system so all the points raised in my post would still ring true. He can't blame everyone but Ramos & Poyet, though I'm sure he'd like to. Genuinely, if Harry was in charge when Berba and Keane were sold, do you think Dan would be blaming it on Harry or the DOF? It'd be Harry all day long, citing reasons such as his lack of ambition and that he can't attract the top players (as he's mentioned several times before) even though the fact remains that Ramos/Poyet were supposed to be a big pull but we still only managed Frazier Campbell.

And with that I think I'm going to take a break from this site for a couple of days. Let the dust settle and all that.

There clearly isn't just one man to blame. Levy to an extent...the scouts...the agents...the media...Abramovich...and last but not least....dun..dun DUNNN....
erm...Modric?

He hasn't left yet. The club haven't had a chance to respond. Let's see what happens first.
